Here's a little history.....
I am 30, almost 31. DH is 27. We have 4 kids. I had a tubal after #3, so #4 was an IVF baby. We "planned" to do an IVF/PGD cycle to balance things out and get another DD but we only had 3 embies ready to biopsy on Day 3, so we scrapped that and transferred them all. And yep - you guessed it - another boy! (And I love him dearly!)
Now, I want "JUST ONE MORE"! :o) We obviously have to do IVF again b/c of the tubal. I want to add MS again in case we have the same PGD issue although I really want to do both MS and PGD.
Sooooo, finally, my questions:
(1) what would exclude someone from MS?
--DH's counts are awesome. My follie counts weren't great for my age (29) - 15 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 10 fertilized with ICSI....but since most MS patients have done IVF before, do they care?
--I have had one miscarriage between child one and two - a blighted ovum. I had a D&C.
--I have had a LEEP.
--I had PTL with baby #1 and #3 but totally uneventful pregnancies with #2 and #4.
--I have had 4 (uneventful) c-sections.
Does any of this exclude me per se?
(2) does anyone know the realistic wait for the Fairfax, VA center for a collaborating sort? Are they doing collaborating sorts right now? Their website makes it seem like they are. (???) We would use my local RE who does MS cycles since we had success with him with IVF #1. If I got on the list "today", how long can I expect to wait? I am just trying to get an idea since I would then also need to get in with my RE to cycle there....and he books quickly (a SIRM center).
Thanks for all of your help!!!!!!
