I bit the bullet and have made an appointment for this afternoon. Hopefully with leaving it quite late, I should get my booking appointment with the midwife next week, but no scan until 16 weeks round here, I don't think. One thing I am looking forward to, which I've never had before, is a 20 week scan where you get to find out the gender. Pruviously, it's been the 16 week scan and a scan at 30 where 9 times out of 10, you get a sonographer that wouldn't tell you. So, I'm really looking forward to finding out that I'm definitely having another boy (LOL) and being able to buy gender specific clothes etc, unisex stuff seems to be quite hard to come by. xx

They are strict about not telling the gender here too.  So this time I am going to call around and try to find a place that doesn't have this policy!  I am going to try and get my 19 week scan at 17 weeks though!
