    Loving the Amby Bed!!!

Over the years I have bought some goofy baby gadgets but this is the best by far.  It's a hamock type bed attached to the frame by a big spring.  When baby is fussy you can bounce and rock her.  It's a life saver some nights.  I found a 2nd one on craigslist so each twin can have one.  Vivi doesn't like it as much as Georgia does.  www.ambybaby.com

Thanks for the info, my first had reflux and a could not handle milk protein. Needless to say I didn't sleep for 6 months. I've been looking into the Amby Baby Bed and was wondering if it really made a difference. I guess I'll be getting one now.

I've been wanting one for since Grayson was a baby.  He and EC had horrible reflux.  But they are so darn expensive.  I am looking on Craiglist, but DH doesn't want me buying one until we know if baby has reflux....by then it will be too late.  I figure my chances of another reflux baby is pretty high.  Glad to hear that  you love it!

Wow, I've never seen one of these.  What happens when the baby goes to sleep while you're bouncing it, and then stop (does she wake up?)?  My babies have always hated sleeping in their crib or cosleeper, but they do like a cradle swing Embarrassed  I wonder if this would be somewhat similar but more acceptable for sleeping.

I can put my very fussy DD in when she is still a little awake.  Then we get the bounce/swing going just right.  After she's drifted off, I start to slow down.  First I stop bouncing, the gradually stop swinging til I can leave the room.  Best part is her own wiggling makes it bounce and sway a little.  Depends on the baby though.  My other DD has a strong startle reflex and she doesn't like it as much.  It also helps to have them swaddled before laying them in there.
