Hi! I just wondered who has there ultrasound scheduled to find out the sex? If you do what day? Mine is scheduled for August 20th! Something to look forward too:)

Is that the BIG u/s?? Lucky you - thats not far away at all! Mine is not until 8th Sept, i will be 19 wks 6 days so almost bang on 20 weeks. I cant wait to find out - i feel like one way or another I need to know if its a little boy or girl in there so i can get on with my life as it is starting to take over my mind!! What about everyone else?

Yes the big ultrasound! I am going early i will be 16 weeks. I hope they will be able to tell. I also need to find out boy or girl, so i can stop obesessing. I also need to start buying stuff since i have not 1 baby item:(

WE ARE FINALLY GETTING OUR LITTLE GIRL!

 

I found out the other day at 14 weeks 2 days as i had more old blood spotting and i went for a scan to make sure everything was still OK (everything is going really well). The OB said i can tell you the gender if you want to know. I was shocked as my big scan was still 5 weeks away and i was geared for the big news then. 

We are very very very very happy. I spent all the next day shopping for cute clothes in the girl section and had a ball - spent a fortune - and didn't care! It will be a day i will treasure forever. 

It was clearly a girl - no mistaking it. It was even very clear for a lay person like me to see. It was a great way to find out as there was no build up even though it was constantly on my mind. 

I still can't get the smile off my face and i wish all you ladies all the same good fortune and luck at your scans. I have my anatomy one still on the 10th Sept so i will keep you updated. I have another OB app before then so i will get another sneek peak!

Congratulations, Bingo!  Glad to hear you're having your little girl. 

As far as my big ultrasound date, it hasn't been set yet.  I haven't even heard my little one's heartbeat yet!  So, I'm looking forward to August 27th.  That's my next check-up appt.  I figured out that my big ultrasound will be sometime at the end of September!

After not wanting to find out, I now hav my gender scan on 30th Aug!!  The baby was uncooperative at the NT Scan and now I really need to know!!

How did you know it was a girl? By the nub or were there white lines? I had an ultrasound at 13 weeks 4 days due to spotting and swear i saw 3 lines. But thought it was kinda early to see that

Congratulations, Bingo!!!!! *doing my happy dance for you*!!!!!! What a blessing to be able to walk throught the store and purchase cute dresses and PINK =) I pray all of us hoping for girls get to experience that wonder as well!!!!

 And I am SO JEALOUS! You girls are getting your big u/s way sooner than I am!!!  I've only seen baby and heartbeat at 7 weeks. I had spotting at 10 wks which my doc assured me was the twin in there leaking a bit as he/she was most likely reabsobed. He checked my uterus and said I wasn't dialated or anything but still I've been nervous ever since. Though, I should be out of the danger zone by now, wouldn't you think? Either way I've had minimal spotting (and by minimal I mean a streak here and there maybe 5 times or so since then and nothing close together or anything to make me really worry) but still any kind of blood causes me a concern. I spotted pretty badly with DS2 until 16 weeks so I'm sure it's fine. It's just my doc is SO layed back and I'm such a worrier. I was hoping to hear the heartbeat at my 12 wk scan but perhaps that was too early for a doppler, iono. Either way, I cannot wait for my gender scan which will be scheduled at my 4 month appointment the 20th of this month. I'm also so nervous for it....I almost don't want to know because I'm enjoying thinking, hoping, wishing and praying it's a GIRL. *sigh* That was a tangent. Looking forward to hearing all the genders for our February group!!!

I understand your nervousness with the spotting. I am the same way. I had spotting from week 8-11. Luckily my md wanted to keep checking on everything. That might be because i had a prior miscarriage:( But yes any sort of blood would be a cause for concern.If the spotting stopped i think you are good to go. Especially since we are all about that time where chance of miscarriage is so low. I got to hear the babies heart beat with a doppler at my 11 week 4 day appt. It did take my md awhile to find it. But other than that i got to hear it with the ultrasound. Good luck with your appt. on the 20th hopefully you will get to hear that heartbeat for the 1st time!! Also i wasn't supposed to have a gender scan with my md office till i was 21 weeks which would be the end of sept!! There was no way i was gonna be able to wait that long so i scheduled an appt at a private office here for the 20th. I can't wait but at the sametime i am like you and am so nervous. I am soo hoping for a girl!!!! GL to you!

Thanks, Rhonda. I still have spotting off and on, but I can barely see it on the tp. Like, I had the tiniest streak last night and nothing all day today...that kind of thing.  I'm guessing as my doc said earlier at my 10 wk appt. that it's prolly due to the twin I had. And if you heard the heartbeat with a doppler at 11 weeks or so, then hopefully I will be able to ask my doc to check to make sure everything is ok at my 16 wk appt coming up on the 20th. I'm sure everything is okay tho. I'm just a worrier

Mine is also on September 8. It should have been the previous week, but my husband "thought" we might go somewhere for Labor Day, so to be safe, pushed the u/s back a week!! We're not even going now and I'm so anxious to find out! At 12 wks they guessed boy, and I was hoping girl, and since then all my favorite girly outfits at Baby Gap have cycled through and are out, so I'll be pissed (not really) if we find out it's a girl and I could have bought them all!! I guess that's why we just buy first and keep the tags! :) I'm assuming it will be boy though. Can't wait to know!!

 

 

oohhh!!!  i'm so excited for you!!  i can't believe i missed this awesome news.  (darn those vacations!)  have fun w/ all your shopping-there's such cute girly stuff out there.  my MIL & i were drooling over pink dresses yesterday...

 i don't go for another OB appt until Aug. 26-i'm hoping to schedul U/S then (i'll be 16 wks)

Hi, well i am having mine done today and i am 15 weeks 5 days. It was driving me nuts so i scheduled a private gender scan. I will have my ultrasound with my doctor when i am 21 weeks they said. I couldn't  wait that long:) I am due Feb 6th.
