Hi all!  I'm still high risk but more so now lol.  I have GD (gestational diabetes).  So that means I have FVL and GD.  Oh well, at least I get to see lots of pics of the baby!   How is everyones babies sitting?  head up or head down?  My little man is head up but they say there is plenty of time to turn yet

Hi ya!!!

Ekk on the GD, my results came back normal although my Ob screened me for a few viruses as DD has been in hospital (she hurt herself pretty badly poor bubba) turns out I have zero immunity CMV and chicken poxs....so now I have to be tested every 10 days..........OH well nothing like being a pin cushion!

Bubs was breeched a few weeks back but has finally turned heads down bums up!!! My Ob did an u/s again on Wednesday and the baby looks EXACTLY like DD, my Ob was blown away she got out DD's u/s pics and compared them.....its amazing. Not long now and bubs will be here - still couldn't see the gender (GETTING FRUSTRATED NOW) cheeky monkey LOVES hugging the cord!!!!! All I can say is regardless of gender its going to be a huggy bubby!!! YIPPPEEEEEE!

Best of luck with the GD!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the GD.  I had to do the 3 hour test with DS1 and I was borderline....can't imagine if I had it!  I love to eat and would not like to stick myself!  My baby girl was head down at the u/s last week.  Hope that's the case in a few months!

Hi,

I posted last week about My sis being breech and it was DC#3. She had had 2 easy vaginal deliveries previously. So anyway, Friday when she went for her appt she was head down and they induced her yesterday. She has GD but is also Insulin dependant. She had her baby boy this morning and he weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz.

He was not huge as the dr predicted and wanted to induce her for and it was her longest labor ever.(Shaking my head about those "Doctors")

Anyway. I'm an aunt to my first nephew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

uugh the GD sucks... are you able to manage w/ nutrition?

My bub was head down at my 26 week appt (my appts got off b/c we had to travel unexpectedly uugh), but posterior.  Midwife said there's still lots of time to turn and just encourage him to stay head down, but roll around to anterior.

They say avoid deep squats if you want baby to turn head down (so his bottom doesn't settle into your pelvis and get comfy).  My cousin had her little boy turn from breech to vertex at 36 weeks - so your fellow still has time to turn :)  I don't think they get really squished until 32-34 weeks.
