I am thinking about cycling for IVF and microsort. I really want a 100% guarantee for a female. If you opt to have the pgd procedure can there be embryo damage if you just check for the sex (a two probe)? Do most people go for the two, three or five probe?

I believe that the embryo damage you are referring to is from the biopsy, not the PGD.  Therefore, the number of probes would not change the amount of damage to the embryo, since the embryo undergoes the same biopsy regardless of the number of probes.  HTH!
