It was totally obvious in the ultrasound what the baby was. Even my husband knew, without the tech telling. When the doctor came in he asked if we knew and we said we had an idea, and he confirmed it!

It's a BOY!!!

I am soo happy for you! I bet you feel so good knowing that you are expecting another little man! Congratulations!

Congrats!  I'm the same as you - G, B, B.  At first I was sad (always wanted two girls), but have come to realize that it's a wonderful, perfect combination.  You will so enjoy it!  Was this what you were hoping for, or did you want a G? 

Congratulations and I agree with CAROL'S KIDS - G, B, B is the best combination.  I would like to have had B, B, G but two girls?!  With the brothers playing with each other, your eldest can become your best friend.  I like that idea very much!

CAROL'S KIDS - isn't that always the way though?  You always want what you can't have - or probably more accurately, you always want what others have got!!  But I only ever wanted boys - however, I was prepared to compromise.  God, or whoever, the powers that be, etc, decided not to compromise with me lol! 

Yep, Markyjo, you hit it right on the head - life is totally that way, and we get to adapt!  Sometimes, though, when life hasn't always gone my way it has ended up being the best way. It's just hard being used to achieving goals and having some of them totally beyond your control. I wish you all the best in getting blue in 2009 - that would be such an incredible family combination, and how fun would your daughters have with a little boy to take care of.  I really hope it happens for you!!

CAROL'S KIDS - I wish I had your outlook and maybe, in 15 years time, I will think this plan someone else had for me turned out fine - I can't say better than my plan because I wouldn't know if I didn't get my boy and i'll never know for good because I'll never get my BBG, unless boy pops out irrespective of 20 week US - ignore me - I've been reading too many threads of mistaken US!

We are looking to go high tech next time.  It's our last chance so we are considering all options and that seems to be the way to go.
