only wish it would leave the smell-em-good behind...

That just made me think of something...We do not use the hoover cleaner because it is stupid expensive so we use any floor cleaner we have in the house.  DH like Mr. Clean but I think it smells like a factory or something but you can use anything you want.  Just put it in the little cup thing and you are ready to go!

Horsey Mom

I use the same typ of "mop".Agree It can actually be used wet or dry, and I take it off and rinse it out while washing my floor to make sure the pad is always clean. I have hardwood floors, so you can't use much water on them and this works awesome! I bought mine from WalMart, and also an extra pad. I use it on lino, hardwood and laminate and it works awesome on them all. I use the "regular" mop outside on the deck now!! Oh, and mine hasthe pockets on each end so the sleeves fit over the ends and it seems to stay on really well. My mom has a few and they are all velcro.....I've rolled them off a time or two! Maybe I scrub too hard?!?!

I also have the Swiffer with the pre wet pads, but I only use that when people are coming over as it smells good! But I'd rather not the chemical residue on the floor with the kids and pets.

Interesting... so I could theoretically buy the bottle of Swiffer refill moppy stuff and pour that smell-em-good in the cup thing, and viola!  Cool mop AND smell-em-good!

Yup but if the swiffer stuff doesn't have you add water then you would just put it in the tank straight.  Other cleaners that you have to add water to, you put in the cup and then fill the tank with water.

Hmmmmm...

In my unnecessary quest for olfactory satisfaction, I would probably use the Swiffer liquid and totally kill the entire Hoover experience...
