Taelah - If you want to pm me yours and dh's info I can look it up on another software I have for biorhythms...a bit easier to read as it gives percentages of emotional line and physical...so easier to tell if you are lean or neutral.  Without seeing your charts, but basing it on high emotional and physical ines I would say it was lean boy.  It may have been more neutral or slight lean boy though which would mean that the sway wouldn't need to be quite as strong as if you were leaning boy....if you agree with the theory, of course.  There are many, I know. lol. HTH!

To clarify for momof2 wishingforsomeblue:

You should be +physical and -emontional

You DH whould also be negative emotional.

Emotional energy=girls

Physical energy=boy

If you look at your past concepion pattern you should try to be opposite of that or strong boy.

Hi DeeDee, I just saw this post about biorhythms and checked mine out on the site.

I am doing absolutely everything possible to conceive a DD and now I have looked up my biorhythms and they look like they favour boys! yikes!!  So, I was wondering if you could help me pick out the right time to try.  What day do you pick?  the day you DTD, ovulate or expect the egg to fertilise?

We did O+12 on 23rd August and for that date I was: emotional -  physical  +    my DH  was emotional  +   physical  -

I don't think we have hit the jackpot this month (still in the 2WW!) but the moon was good! 

When I conceived my twin sons I was in emotional  +  physical  + and DH was emotional  -  physical -

I am expecting to ovulate on approx 16th September when I woud be emotional -  physical  +  and DH emotional +  physical -

what do you think this looks like as a possible ttc girl conception it looks like I am in boy zone plus it is at full moon as well, I really don't want to wait until October so will I just need to keep lots of negative ions around me and be really good at my sway??  In October I am in the girl zone but DH is in the boy zone, is it more important for me or him to be in the right zone?  as I can't see that we will both be there at the same time!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!  thanks 

With your twins, you were in lean boy and dh was in lean girl.  The dates in September, you mention, would have you in boy time and dh in girl time.  As for when biorhythms could come to play....it would be actual o and the day sperm met egg. The idea behind biorhythms reflects the idea that our bodies are in rhythm of alkaline and acidic cycles...so your environment can change even if your egg was released during an acidic cycle.  THough, I would say that the day of release is more important...though I'm not an expert.  I've signed up with a program that does biorhythms for gender but they also look at other systems (planetary and lunar) as well.  That said, I certainly believe a good sway can outweigh any of this. :)

So, the biorhythms just basically mean whether your body is acidic or alkaline?  so, if  I manage to get my PH down to 4 then I am in effect overriding the biorhythm? 

It may explain why I had such a hard time getting my PH down this month!

In essesnce, I think that this is a correct assumption.  I have found the same as you, though, when I'm in 'boy time' my ph tends to rise unexpetedly...also, my temps tend to be higher in girl territory.  Maybe a coincidence...but I do find it very interesting!

You enter your birthdate, month you want to target (e.g. when you conceived or hope to conceive) and ensure you include the correct time zone. You look at your o date to see where the emotion and physical lines connect on the chart.

To read the chart: a positive line is a line above the line and a negative line is below the center grid line.

* Girl = + Emotional Line (over line) and - Physical line (negative is under line)

* Lean Girl = both Emotional and Physical are negative at the target

* Boy = -negative Physical Line and -negative Emotional Line

* Neutral - as I understand it is when the lines are crossing the center of target date.

* Ideally both dh and you are in girl energy (ttc girl) or boy energy (ttc boy).
 

I did it for both of my boys & it was right for me. It was only right for dh on ds#1, though. It is kind of cool! 

Ok. So with my DS #1 it was correct for his father and myself.

With DS #2 it was tricky. Dh's said a boy. Mine said "lean" for a boy.

So all in all it was correct for both.

For our future date of Jan-Feb for a girl, my DH's said girl and mine we're really whacky, my emotional and physical levels ran together to whole time and complete opposite of my DH's. Neither of ours lined up and weren't even close to the same dates to even "lean" for a girl. I might want to avoid those months...according to this method.

This is interesting! I just found this and for this pregnancy, based upon O date we are:

Me: + Emotional, + Physical,  - Intellectual

DH: - Emotional, + Physical, + Intellectual

When DD1 was conceived:

Me: + Emotional, - Physical, - Intellectual

DH: - Emotional, - Physical, - Intellectual

When DD2 was conceived:

Me: + Emotional, + Physical, + Intellectual

DH: - Emotional, - Physical, - Intellectual

What does anyone make of all this? We did NO swaying with either of our girls, but we did sway for a boy this last time.

 What does it mean if both are negative but are crossing eachother, or does that not matter at all?

 Has anyone looked into smartstork, i think this is what they base there system off. I was reading through it and it was explaining excatly what was said here, that fluid switches from alkaline to acidic every few days through out your cycle. Now because i'm crazy lol, i'm going to pay the 10$$ for their already pg prediction, you have to put in your bday and when you o'd, and they'll tell u % of boy or girl...hmmm, I'll let you know if it is biorythms they're going off.

So, I just got a BFP for this month!!!!! yipppeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!   and when we BD I was: emotional - physical +  DH was: emotional +  physical -

so, he was in girl and I was in boy???  I am desperate for a DD.

Thanks, Kayla! I was wondering if the DH & DW could cancel each other out (like in the case of our 2nd DD. I didn't really know if one reading was more important than the other or had more weight, kwim? This is cool and it's awesome this was correct for all your other children. Gives me hope this really may be our boy!!!

 Well, I'm back again! My last pregnancy ended in m/c, but due to a total fluke (and a roving O date thanks to FF), I *may* be pg again so I checked out our biorhythms this time and I'm - on everything and DH is + on everything! I guess that means we totally cancel each other out??
