An explanation of Gelatin for ttc a boy

Ok people over and over and over and over have asked me.. how do you know Gelatin has testosterone in it?  So here is the simplest explanation.  Look at all the other supplements that raise testosterone and you will see a common letter.  The letter L (L-Arginine,  L-carnitine and so on).  This L stands for amino acids.  Amino acids have been proven to raise testosterone in both men and women.  Now Gelatin has 18 amino acids in it.  These all help to raise testosterone.  So is gelatin pure testosterone.. no, but it is darn close.  Make since?

from what I read if it has an L- it will raise testosterone.  I maybe be wrong though

well i take one a day and 3 if i feel one coming on so lets hope so!!

although in that link the last point says it aids in the absortion of calcium luckly im not having any calcium!!!

My local Walmart just started carrying the 32 envelope box of Knox's Gelatine. I paid $6.48 for it.

It's only ingredient is gelatin. Jell-o's first ingredient is sugar then gelatin.

Are the sores that people get in the inside of the mouth the same of cold sores? My dh is prone to these.

YES - those mouth ulcers (which I get from stress) are NOT cold sores (cold sores are caused by herpes) BUT L-Lysine is what I take for them every time and it ALWAYS works!

It's not so much that it's dangerous, but the body's balance of L-Lysine vs. L-Arginine can be a contributing factor of cold sores. This is a really brief, easy explanation of that:

Not surprisingly, foods that are high in L-Arginine - chocolate, nuts, peanut butter are exactly the foods I eat when I'm under stress so no wonder I have to mega-dose L-Lysine to counteract the effects!

What did you mix the gelatin with and how much?  I bought pineapple juice today to mix but I have no idea how much juice to use.  It also says is has ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in it.  Is this bad for ttc blue?  I couldn't find any that did not have it in it.  The ingredients list filtered water, pineapple juice concentrate, Ascorbic acid (vitamin C).  Below the ingredients it says the vitamin c is not found in regular pineapple juice.  Unfortified pineapple juice contains 100% of the daily recommended value of vitamin c per serving.

Calcium is listed on the label as 2% and Vitamin C is listed as 130% as well as Vitamin A and Iron both 2% or below.

How do you all take your Gelatine??  Do you just drink it real quick in like 4 oz of water or juice?  Do you just take one packet a day?  This for DW and DH, right?  Not just DH?  Is this an AF to O thing?  I saw Gelatin as something on the diet, but no particular recommendations for it (unless I missed it).

I bought a 4-pack of Knox original Gelatine for a $1.68 at my regular grocery store in the baking aisle next to all the pre-mixed Jellos.  I was QUITE surprised to happen upon it there!  ;o)
