Failed Boy Attempt

Boy diet 6 months from coming off combined pill, supplements of alfalfa, evening-primrose, flax seed, pottassium. Drank lot of lemon juice, used baking soda finger, O'D, Full Moon, fed DH zinc & alfalfa & multi-vitamins, turned thermostat down when DH having too hot bath..

But I failed to test for PH & only guessed when OV. was; suspect TTC 1 day too early.

Yes I wish I'd been more precise. DH also heavy drinker/smoker.

I am sorry you didnt get your boy after many measures.  Congratulations on your little girl, i know you are feeling little low right now but you will love her when you see her.

I'm sorry you didn't get your boy that you tried for, but read something one day that really made me feel ok with either outcome I may get, something like this... just think how bad she wanted to be here with you to overcome all the obstacles you put in her way. I'm not sure if you only wanted 2 children, but maybe this was God's plan and you will have more than origanlly "wanted". Congrats on another little princess and a great friend for your daughter!! Wishing you a H&H pregnancy!!

Thanks. It does cheer me up sometimes to think I tried my best [Well, couldve done bit better!] yet still got DD; like she was meant to be, overcoming those obstacles like you say. But it also drives me mad re-reading the swaying posts & realising where I should have improved my plan! - I just assumed the diet'd sort the PH & bingo

I did plan 2 kids - 2 boys - so hopefully I'll still get at least 1 boy with the bonus of the extra unplanned DDs?! That's the best way to see it I think, on a positive 'good' GD day

also you did do BSF that should have raised your ph some what i test ph all the time and it dosent even change!! but when i done a bsf then tested it went straight up to an 8!!! never seen it that high.

you done everything else you could i read alot of posts on here where they have bd on the day of O and still got a girl!!!

so i still think you gave it a good try, im trying to sway as you know and if it dosent work and i get DD#4 i will be convinced im just meant to have girls!!

Yeah that makes me feel better! But I don't know what BSF is?! And I really should have got the PH Tester strips, just cos the local & HighSt chemists didnt have them; could've just got them off the internet. I was also reading the posts about OPK+12, which I'd also not heard of when I tried, despite 6 months of surfing this site... Well, if I do dare try swaying again I'm not going to leave any post un-read this time!

noboys - Thanks, it really sucks especially when most people just seems to get them. I saw a little boy trailing behind his mum yesterday & she wasn't paying much attention at all when he spoke to her, sounded like she felt he was a nusiance - If that were MY DS I would never be like that & it makes me so angry at God that people that arnt even bothered get DSs yet I don't; What the hell's that about?!!!
