I did the ericsson method in Michigan. Yes, they do quote 80% but I have heard of a lot of opposites. We did one cycle back in Feb. I took 50mg of clomid days 3-7 and had a trigger shot so we knew exactly when I ovulated. But, i got a BFN! We spent a lot of money between medications, the method and travel. We decided to just try naturally and sway on our own. They say it takes on average three to four times doing IUI before pregnancy is acheived.
Yes, you are allowed to watch the process if you ask. Although, you do not see the final step which is where the sperm is put into the IUI instrument. They make you wait in the room for the procedure. There def. was some question on our part whether the final specimen actually had enough sperm in it? I hate to say it but they are out to make money and they know that most people will come back. Also, the office was a little scary too
I hope this helps...if you have any questions just ask!
