I just have to know how many loads of washing you do each day? I know there are much bigger issues in life but i can't worry about the BIG things because i've got soooo much washing to do! LOL! I would do at least 2 large loads each day but most days it would be 3 and if for some reason i miss a day then it can be up to 6loads. So coupled with drying, folding and ironing thats a lot of laundry! I'm trying to work out if i'm totally disorganised or if this is typical for larger families?

I think there is something seriously wrong with my families laundry habits! I need to do at least 1-2 loads each day, just to keep up. I can't imagine having 3,4,5 or 6 kids, I wouldn't be able to leave the laundry!!

Ok...I have to say that my kids have WAY too many clothes because i can stretch their laundry to every other week. So right now I'm doing the boys laundry and the last time I did it was maybe 2 Fridays ago. IT NEEDS to be done today though because they will run out tomorrow. Same thing with dd. I did her laundry two Thursdays ago. Sadly she could have still kept going because I have too many outfits for her...LOL...
Dh laundry gets done the same way..I did his yesterday and the last time I did his laundry was 2 Thursdays ago. He has about 20 pairs of underwear...LOL. He will wear the same clothes 2 days or so in a row too....can't break him of that. As long as the clothes don't stink he's all about wearing it...ha. I do his dress clothes every other week too. Right now I'm doing that. He has a ton of buisness casual clothing though. Probably something like 20 dress shirts and about 15 pairs of dockers.
Same thing for me. So my secret is to wear all clothing until you run out....LOL...
I realize once the kids get to the point where they have favorites, I will have to do laundry more often.

Ha Ha my dh does that too! He comes home from work takes a shower puts a t-shirt and shorts on, we eat dinner and then go to sleep. So when it is time to do his laundry he has a small little basket of socks, underwear, and like 2 pairs of shorts and a few t-shirts! I do have to wash his work uniforms even tho we pay for that service thru his work!
