I always just took tums for my calcium b/c the calcium supp pills I got were HUGE. It just dawned on me that Tums are an antacid. Is this ok?

Active ingredient: Calcium Carbonate 1,000 mg
Inactive ingredients: sucrose, corn starch, talc, mineral oil, adipic acid, artificial flavors, sodium polyphosphate, red 40 lake, blue 1 lake.
my guess is it is fine. watch your pH and if it goes up let me know!

Liquid calcium is indicated in the French diet book. Also make sure that you are taking Vitamin D so that you can maximize your absorption. HTH! :)
