i was just wondering if anyone has tried the ring on a chain where you hold it over the palm of your hand and if it swings in circles its a girl and its it swings side to side its a boy.

you dont have to be pregnant to do this it also tell you how many children you will have it swings then stops then starts again for your next child when it comes to a complete stand still (give it awhile) it means you will have no more

we have tried this on many people and it has been 100% mine swings 5 times which means i will have 5 children the first 3 were right it went in circles and i have 3 girls and the next to swung side to side which means fingers crossed 2 boys!!

we even tried it on a new lady at work as she wanted a turn it did not swing at all she then told us she is unable to have children!!

has anyone else tried this please let me know how it goes

I have done the ring test but only with a sewing needle and thread.  Mine goes in a circle 2x ( I have 2 girls now) and then swings side to side (hoping to ttc a boy next).  I always stop there because I know this will be my last.  I hope it's right for us!!

This very topic has had me tied in knots lately!  In my younger days I did it, and it was correct - boy then girl.  But I cant seem to get it to work anymore!  I tried it again yesterday and I'm pretty sure it went boy/girl/boy (we are doing 1st cycle IVF next month - want a boy...).

i just done it for the first time and its really spooked me out! i waited then it all of a sudden started to sway side to side i was quite shocked then it stopped then started again!!!!!

i then waited anxiously thinkin oh knowin me it will sway side to side agin but know it started slowly rockin forward then as it progressed it was going in circles....oh i do hope this works!!! although it did do another stop then start circling again then finally stopped. I was sure if my next was a girl i would def be stoppin at 3, maybe i have twins??????? lol

I know its for fun but there has to be something in these owt's

one thing i noticed it did feel like my palm was burning as it moved which was slightly strange!

I tried it n it says boy/girl/boy for me. It stops after 3. My MIL has 4 boys n it said 4 boys for her. I hope it is correct as I already have a DS and am hoping for a girl next. I hope you get your 2 boys.

yes i find it quite spooky as it has worked 4 everyone i know i just did it to my mum and it was correct 2 girls i only wanted 4 but i mite have twin boys that would be nice as i mc twins before

 i even tried it on my hubby and it done the same thing maybe you can try it on your partners and c what it does i havent seen this be wrong yet so fingers crossed for everyone!!!

i dont know if its just our minds swaying the ring to go in the way we want it but id like to test it out on someone that you dont know how many children they have or what sex personally i dont know anyone but if someone could try it and let me know that would be great that would be the real test!!! then i would beleive

Did it on DH - and...... its a boy!!!!!!!  I'm bouncing around the house like a little teenager!

On the down side - I did it on my sons fiance and it was girl/boy.  Then she did it on my son (her fiance) and it was one boy!  Needless to say I had to do some quick talking regarding the whole thing being rubbish!!!  Personally I think they are both in trouble and that may just prove it! - shame cause I really like her.  I would like her for a DIL.

 oh no thats not a good thing to happen im glad my DH was the same as mine!!! did she get upset? some people do over these kind of things, even though they are just for fun......im really starting to beleive this one!!!

We tried this here at work yesterday on a co-worker w/ 2 girls and it went in a circle 2x and stopped. She is 45+ and itsnt having anymore, so 100% correct for her!

We then tried this on me and it said girl/boy/girl, which is also what 2 predictions have said!!!! I so hope my first is girl!!!

Another co-worker also tried this and it said boy/girl/boy for her, but she also does not have any children yet.

 We then tried it on two men, one had has a child and one who doesn not, and the ring never moved at ALL! It never moved on my DH either, so not real sure if it works on men here!!!

The ring doesnt move on my DH either. My MIL said that when she had tried on my FIL, it didnt move either. She said that it should work on women only coz they are the ones who will bear the children and thats why the ring doesnt move on infertile women.

 i wonder if for some woman it counts miscarriages and other woman it dont. I have had 2 miscarriages and 2 boys. It only counted 3 pregnancies total. Boy, boy, then girl so Im wondering if it doesnt count misscarrige sfo rme and girl would be next

hi no it dosent accout for my m/c im mc at 11weeks so i think it just includes the children you have

Can you do this at any point in pregnancy?  I did the ring test before pregnant and it showed what I have.  When I do it now it swings back and forth but does it perpendicular. So, it will swing east to west then it swings north to south.  What is that?
