I could blame it on the number of pregnancies I've been through (12) but I've always been like this, felt older then I really am...  Glad to find a part of the site where I can actually remind myself I'm still young!

There must be tons of Young Mums here..!  Where is everyone?  Why's nobody posted yet?!!! 

I found out I was pregnant with DS1 the day before I turned 18 (and two weeks before our wedding!) and basically just kept going.  Baby #6 will be born just after I turn 26 and it's really odd to think that I'll be done with pregnancy then and sterilised at 26 years old.  Most people haven't even started their families at that age, never mind finished!!!!  LOL

Anyway, looking forward to chatting to people as always!

I know exactly what you mean except i'm only 22 and feel alot older... I fell pregnant with my DD1 3mths after turning 18 and have had kiddies every second yr..pretty much anyway.

My DH is 24 and is considering getting the big V. I feel quite sad knowing that this will be my last baby at such a young age too...but we are happy with only 3....

OOoooo you're lucky.  My DH is 31 and when he found out the Drs strongly recommended sterilisation to prevent me having any further pregnancies, he asked for the snip...  They said no as he's apparently too young.  Here they won't do it without good reason on anyone under 35.  Basically they said the issue is mine and if DH decides to go and make a new life for himself and have more kids he'd regret it later.    Charming!!!

We havent made any inquiries about it yet but i think they probably wont do it because he is only 24. So i might be looking to taking the pill or something...

But i tell DH that he might regret getting it done so young.....but i know we are ready to start doing things to make our lives alot more stable as far as me getting a job to help provide for our growing family etc...KWIM??

Hi ladies!  I'm in this group too, I guess.  Although I too feel much older than my chronogical age of 26.  I also found out I was pg with dd#1 a month or two after turning 18.  Dh and I have 4 kids collectively ( my older dd from someone else, my 2 stepsons, and our dd together).  We arte hoping to go high-tech in a year or two for our ds.  I'm secretly hoping for twins becauae I always pictured myself with 4 kids!!!!  But just 1 ds would be great!

Im 26, and got married at 19, had DS1 at 21 and DS2 at 24.  I feel old, but we wanted to have kids young so that when we are older and have more money we can travel and vaction a little!!  DH has agreed to the V, but I said I will take care of things until we are 30.  Im hoping to talk him into a 4th if I can ever get PG with #3.  It's never taken more that 1 month before, and now I am on month #4.

Hi ladies! I'm here too. I found out I was preg with DS1 when I was 18 then found out I was preg with DS2 when DS1 was only 3months old! Then comes DS3...He came when DS2 was about 9months old. WOW I'm tired just looking at that. The past was rough but I would never go back! DH and I are trying to have a DD now and if we get preg with another boy I think I just might want to try again. DH and I are glad we have had our kids young. I had the Marina IUD put in after DS3 was born and I had it in for 2.5years. It worked wonderfully!  Anyway just wanted to say hello to everyone in here.

Hey there girls!  I am just a little bit older than most of you that have posted but I am only 28!!  I don't have any kids yet but that was my choice up until 7 months ago.  My DH was in the Navy and I just wanted to wait until he got out of the military to have kids.  Well now we are having issues getting pregnant so I wish I would have started earlier but oh well what can you do!

Yep, me too...I feel like I can relate to a lot of what you ladies wrote.  I'm 25 and pregnant with my 4th.  Got married at 19 (DH was 23).  Got pregnant 3 weeks later (sort of by choice but 2 months earlier than planned).  Delievered DD1 at 20 and then decided to just keep going.  Had DD2 at 22, and DD3 at 24.  I'll be 26 when I have this one and DH will turn 30 about a month later.  Still don't know if I'm done or not, but I definitely think I'll be done before I even turn 30.  Anyways, sometimes I feel way older than I really am, but I have friends on both sides.  Those who had babies young like me and then friends who are just barely starting to think about marriage and kids now at 25/26.  And then there's my sister who just barely had her first (and maybe last baby) at 29 but has been married for 9 years.  So many different kinds out there.  And even though sometimes I wish I still had my youth and freedom, that's not my reality.  So it bugs me when I'm out by myself and people don't think I have any kids yet, since I am proud of them and like to show them off and brag about them.  Anyways, DH and I's plan was to get kids done with first and then have a life and career and be able to travel...we'll see some day how that plan works out.   

Hi everyone I am 25 and my dh is 26 but we were both born the same year just 6 mths apart.

I was 19 when I found out I as pg. I was 2 months along when we finally got married. ds1 was 5 mths. old when I found out I was pg again I was not to happy about that but I got over it. So ds1 was 15mths old when ds2 was born. Then I tried shettles for ds3 but didn't get the timing right and bd right on o day lol but he has been a real blessing.

My dh wants 6 kids cause he was one of 7 brothers but I am really hoping my sway worked this time cause if we get a dd I am hoping to convince dh to have no more. Glad to be here look forward to getting to know all of you.

im 29, so i dont count.  but i got pg the first time at 16.  now at 29 i have 3 kids, 2 angels, and am done.  so weird to be done.   

Hello!  I'm 26 (and so is DH).  I got married at 20, and had kids at 22, 24, and will again at 26.  We think this is our last kid.  We like having kids young.

Sounds like you're on the ball and having a great life with your family. 

BTW, I had my tubes tied when I was 28, and I was pretty sad afterward for a long time. 

I'm 26 and my dh will be 28 in November.  We got married a month before my 18th birthday, and I got pregnant with DS 1 about a month and a half later.  I was pregnant with a dd before we got married but she died in utero in the second trimester.  We have three DS' now, and are expecting a surprise March 1st next year.  It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been worth it  It's nice to see other young mommies here!!!

Not sure if I still count as a "young mama", but thought I would post anyway!! I am 29 and my DH is 28--born the same year but 9 months apart.  We were married when I was 22 and DH 21--had our DD#1 when I was 24, DD#2 when I was 25(2 months shy of 26) and DD#3 when I was 28.  We will be ttc at the end of this year, so I will be over 30 when I deliver! YIKES!!
