Has anyone used the lunar cycle to help with their swaying? If so.....how accurate do you think that method is?

I'm ttc a DD this time around and according to my lunar cycle.....it seems to be every other month that I can make an attempt. June, August, October...etc. are my months that I should ttc a DD according to the lunar cycle. Well I don't really want to wait every other month to make an attempt. When I checked back to when I conceived my DS....it was accurate according to the Lunar Cycle so I don't know if that means I should go by that? Is it still possible to conceive a DD in one of the months that the lunar cycle is saying I will conceive a DS? I don't know how accurate the whole lunar theory is so I just want some opinions.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Im having the same issues because I had a cycle change this month I know it I get it once a year. I got af late this month so it means that my cycles are changing and now are lined up exacly with the lunar cycle calendar which I know if I want it to correlate with the charts this year I need to try this year because next year it will make it very hard to conceive a ds because my cycles will off unless I figuere a way to make my cycles longer!

My heart is telling me this year if I wait till 2009 then I will fall into girl zone all the months because it will not match at all. I just could tell right now. From my cycle they dont change much 29-30 days long with 16 day being O day.  I have to make a quick decision and fast. I just dont know how Im going to do it!

Yes....I'm talking about the Jonas Conception Calendar. I just refer to it as the Lunar Cycle....sorry if there was any confusion. I looked at the specific date they gave me for each month and each month those dates seem to line up with the time I am Oing. So I'm guessing that could be good timing. June was my first month ttc but I didn't have any luck my first try. Now for July....the calendar is saying this is the month for ttc a DS. So do you think I should avoid ttc this month? It only gives me 1 day that favors the particular gender. So if I avoided that date....do you think I could still have a chance of conceiving a DD? I just don't know if I want to take the chance....like I said....my DS was conceived in a month when it favored a boy. It's just hard because I don't want to have to wait every other month to ttc, but maybe it might just be worth it?

My answer to your ? is yes you got it. Skip it. Now remember use this as reference. I suggest you combine this theory with all the girl diet to conceive your dd. Im talking about the girl diet, ions, moon theory, signs, supplements, Go all the way and try your best.

I conceived my ds in a newmoon-boysign so the moon theory doesnt work for me. I do believe in the ions, timing and diet. Its a lot of work but in the end its worth the wait....

Ok wait...I'm a little confused. If you conceived in a newmoon/boysign.....wouldn't that mean you supposed to have a boy?

My O time is within the new moon for the next 2-4 months. So doesn't that usually favor girls? When I went onto astro.com....I think it's telling me that July is a boy month, August is a girl month, etc. It seems to alternate the sex of the baby each month. Then I did the Jonas method calculation, but the Jonas method doesn't have a "US Eastern timeframe".  Then I was on this site that was similar and it gave me specific days each month that I should dtd to conceive a specific gender. Ok so.....July 13th they are telling us to BD within a certain time that day and we will have a DS. Well....what if we would BD on days other than the 13th.....would it still be possible to have a DD? I hate to have to skip a month.

What would you reccommend? What seems to be the most accurate method when it comes to the lunar calendar? I think I've tried like 4 different ones and now I don't know what to go by.

I've been doing more research on this topic and the Jonas method and this other similar method is telling me that I will conceive a boy in July, a girl in August, a boy in Sept....and it continues to alternate like that. Well then I checked the girl/boy signs every day of the week on the week that I'm Oing in July. Fertility friend says my O date should be Friday, July 11th. Well July 7,8,10,11,12 & 13.....it's in a girl sign (like Virgo or Scorpio...etc.). But the Jonas chart says July is boy month for me so maybe I'm opposite.....maybe I'll conceive a girl when it's in a boy sign? If any of that makes sense? Plus my O dates are within the new moon for the next few months.

Here are my dates.....see what you can come up with:

My birthday: August 11, 1981; Time of birth (3.26pm); Place of Birth (Lebanon, PA - US - Eastern Time zone); Current Time Zone (US - Eastern)

My son's birthday: February 16, 2004   (I think I conceived him on May 9, 2003). I only found out I was pregnant 4 months into the pregnancy, but when I went in they told me his due date would be February 13, 2004 so I think that calculates back to the 9th of May, 2003.

Thanks for the help! You were pretty much coming up with the same information that I was so maybe the moon theory don't work for me either. Although I did wonder if we would conceive on a boy sign....then maybe it would be a girl? Maybe I'm backwards...hehe.

So I guess I won't rely on that which is fine by me cause then I don't have to wait every other month to try for my DD. I will continue to take suppliments and keep my ph low....plus I'm praying constantly!
