Turning 35 today, so I decided to make my first post on Mature Mamas.  It has hit me kind of hard this morning, because after my 3rd DS was born 5 years ago, I have always told myself that age 35 would be my cut-off for trying one more time for a DD.  I know I can still try again, and that it was just a silly age limit that I placed on myself.  I haven't given up hope and still may try again someday, but I'm just a little sad this morning thinking that here I am at 35 and no closer to what I've dreamed about.  I haven't TTC yet.  I've been putting it off until I feel ready, and I'm still not there.  The stress of three DS's keeps holding me back from taking the leap.  Thanks for listening.

Happy B-day!!!  I know it is technically a "milestone" birthday, but you're still young!  I'll be turning 35 in October, one month after giving birth to this baby.  and I hear ya'!  I'm no closer to my DD either...this boy has set me back actually....but we can still have more tries, right?  Don't give up your dream if it's what you really want!

Happy Birthday   Now good grief you are still very young and can still easily get pg and have a safe and happy pg... I wish I was turning 35 on my next b-day.....I wish I knew why we put those expiration dates on ourselves, my first was done by 30 and here I am nearly 40 and still wanting another...those expiration dates keep extending!

Well Happy Birthday and welcome to Mature Mama's!  This is a great group of women if I do say so myself.  By the way...I had #3 at 35 and #4 at 38 and I just may try again someday!

I had my one and only son when I was 31 and I never gave it much thought about being lucky enough to have someone to TTC a DD with..but here I am knowing that I put an age limit on that too if I was to ever get lucky and I have gone past that one....I was hoping that I would have my last baby by the age of 38 and here I am...38 and not pregnant or even trying yet!

Don't worry yourself! You have time and I think it's best you TTC when you are ready...not because you think your running out of time cause your not! Best of luck to you and you will certainly have plenty of us cheering you on when you start!!

Happy belated birthday - I used to say I wouldn't have anymore past 30 - then my 4th was born about 1 week before I turned 35.  How things change!
