Name help :)

Love Evie.... My DD1 is Evie

I obviously voted for Ellie...but I believe in Grown up names~that's where it gets tough for us.  Ellie as the nickname but for a proper name?  I don't like Eleanor, Elin/Ellen....someone on another site suggested an L first name and an E middle name .....LE.  Lillian Elisabeth?  Interesting.  

My reasons for the proper name are that I have two girlfriends named Molly who went into business HATING having dolly/little girl names.  One ended up using her mother's maiden name as her name in Business.  Something to think about.

I agree with ellie08.  My DH wanted to call my DD1 only Evie but i wanted to give her a grown up name and a 'you're in trouble name' . So we agreed on Evelyn and we always call her Evie. Same goes with DD2, we agreed on Dani and her name is Danielle.

I love Eden, Ellie and Evie.  And I guess I am abit the opposite, I like names that can't be shortened.  Like Elizabeth to beth etc.

I also love Tilly.

I voted Nelly!  I've never heard it used here and I like it!!  I do also like Ellie.

i love evie!  somehow, i got the nickname "Evie" (my name is amy) from a movie my family & i were watching way back.  anyways,  i've always loved it.  would you do evie or Evelyn or some variation? 

I like Ellie with the real name Isabella.  I also think it works with Ella, Elizabeth, and Emily with Ellie as the nickname. It just has to be something close, but there are no rules - you're the mom! :-)

i voted Evie too, DD#1 middle name is eve i call her taelah evie all the time maybe i should of made her middle name Evie instead lol
