So i went to my ob on tuesday for the GTT. It was a little high so i had to go Wednesday for the 3 hour test,. I got poked about 7 times! I havent got the results back yet they said maybe Friday. When The first test was given it was a 137. Is that high. Im scared now!!@!!!!1

do you mean that your 1 hour test was 137, or the fasting result of the 3 hour was 137?  If the 1 hour was 137, that's pretty much borderline fail.  depending on the doctor, it's even a pass because some use the threshold of 140 and some use 130.   If you got a 137 fasting glucose on the 3 hour test, then yes, it's a bit high.  I think that one needs to be below 100.  Good luck with your 3 hour results!

I failed my 1 hr  (my level was about 150ish) and just barely passed my 3 hour (I failed the 3 hour result and I barely passed the 2 hour result, by about 5 points).  I have impaired glucose tolerance, which I knew about before hand.

It was 137 at the 1 hour test. I find out the results of the 3 hour tommorrow

Well i still do not know the results and i wont until Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!

why not till Tuesday?  that's quite a long time to wait.  I had my results the next morning.

I know!!! They told me i would have them on Thursday and no phone call so i called on Friday and they told me the results still were not in and that since they are closed for memorial day i cant get them til Tuesday so im left waiting til then!! UGH?!

I have gone through that test twice because my glucose levels were borderline fail. Both my 3 hour tests came back normal. Your levels are almost in the "normal" range so I am sure you are fine. Why did they poke you 7 times??!!

I just heard back from them today and they said everything was normal so thank god!!!
