PGD? Ericsson? Question about these methods

I am sorry if this isnt the right place to post this but was wondering how these work and how expensive these methods are....  It seems common on the board but I always thought that sort of thing was really expensive and difficult, is it somewhat easier for people now?

PGD is 100% for the gender you want if you get pregnant.  It is very invasive and cost about 20,000-30,000$

Ericson's is not for ttc a girl because its stats are to low for it.  It cost about 4,000$????

Microsort is the way you should probably go.  It is on hold right now but should be open in a year.  It has great success for ttc a girl and cost about 9,000$???????

Ericson's and microsort is not 100%, only pgd is.  Ericson's is not FDA approved and only had there stats from themselves.  Microsort is about to be fda approved.  I think ttc a girl is running 90%

    OK

Something is wrong with numbers here...MS AND Ericsson are not so expensive

Ericsson is actitulay unexpensive (just $500) it is about $200 for lab work and $3000 for IUI.

    MS is arround $3800.

Erricson for me was $1000 for one cycle I did the extra US monitoring and the HCG trigger shot so those were extra cost but its usually about $700- $800 its very inexpensive but maybe thats why they are not as accurate. We didnt get pregnant that cycle.

In Spokane,Wa,  Ericsson is $375 for the spinning and $125 for insemination, $500 total.  But $100 more if O falls on weekends or holidays.

wow, is that a certified Ericsson clinic?  There is a difference between spinning and Ericson's.  Not that I doubt you.  Thats a great price

Yep it's certified.  The only thing that I think they may do different is they do the spinning at their clinic(Ericsson clinic) and you go downstairs to have the iui done.

That's the plan!  But of course the more I read about PGD,MS all the high tech stuff I start to doubt my decision.  My hubby won't go for the really high tech stuff though so I don't really think it's an option for us.  I have to just have faith that Ericsson will work for me.  Knowing of 2 women that used that clinic and got boys, helps me feel a  little more confident.

Thats so cool!  When you go can you see if they will let you watch the proccess?  Two people so far have been able to and they sent me details on what happened.  I'm curious if all the centers do it the same way.

Yes, I was actually planning on asking if I could watch since I read other people had done that too.  I will give you all the juicy details when we get it done.  Hopefully my cycle will get a little more regular because the plan was to try it in July.
