Hey I have been thinking about you and just wanted to check on you.  I am hoping we haven't heard from you because you had your dd!!!!  Anyway, keep us posted!!! 

AWWWW.........THAT IS SO SWEET...TO CHECK ON ME I AM SO CHUFFED....

I WISH........HERE I AM 39 WEEKS!!!! WITH THE MOST STALLED LABOUR EVER!!!!!

I WENT IN TODAY GOT CHECKED OUT AND EVEN PUT ONA  MONITOR....BAB'ES HEART RATE IS ON THE SLIGHTLY HIGHER SIDE SO I AM GOING IN AGAIN ON FRIDAY FOR ANOTHER ASSESSMENT.....

other than that i had a scan...no growth can now be recorded as the baby measures out of range..i.e. it is so big they cannot record it on scan anymore.....GULP!!!!i measure 42 weeks in terms of measuring with the measuring  tape..and my cervix is very soft...i am still 70% effaced and about 4 cm dilated.....but babies head although fixed is NOT engaged....due to its position......darn!!!!

i had a another good strech and sweep today and am hoping this will ahppne..i have strated to really sprint walk now and although it gets somepain started my contractions just cease immediately after a couple of hours....

i don't sleep between 4-5-6am anymore casue that is when i have contractions and period like pains almost every other day if not everyday for the past 2 weeks.....

i was urged to go for an induction this week but have refused it again....i am still tempted to be induced on satuday but all my friends eesp those who have been through it disaasvice me and i am not getting too muhc of a go ahead form family eaither....the motto is..you had an 11lb baby naturally and problem free...just wait a little more......let god handle it!!!!...OK....

so hence i am a bit confused a bit baffled..i decided to meet in the middle by allowing myself to get to my due date whihc is next wednesday.....and then if nothing happens i have booked an induction for the saturday that same week......

but deep in my heart i am DESPERATE to have this baby....NOW.....i really dont want to have that induction...so am getting another sweep on friday.....i am going round the block of my neighbourhood and trust me my pelvis is in agony...my calf musles are aching sore and the pressure underneath is indescribable......but is the baby coming have i got contractions...NOPE!!!!

i went for two sprints today after my strech and sweep....and am hoping i wake up this morning and don't go back to sleep at all......but then here is for wishful thinking.....

Well, I really hope this little one comes out for you soon!!!!  It sounds like you are beyond ready. 

I think it is a good idea to wait until your due date and then make a decision on being induced.  It really sounds like she is going to come any minute so hopefully she will just come on her own.  Like you, all of the people I know who have had inductions pretty much say if you don't have to don't do it.

 Anyway, good luck!!!!  I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

I know some people have said bad things about inductions, but man I gotta say that what you are doing seems WAY more brave to me!

I was induced with DS2 and it went perfectly. It never got that painful and he came out exactly 7 hours after the pitocin was started. I'm a big beleiver in intervention when nature just seems to let things drag on too long.

But I'm still thinking of you and hopping that you can have that little girl natural (and soon) and that everything goes well.
