I would like my May baby to be an April baby!

Because my three children came between 2.5 and 3.5 weeks early, I thought that this little one would do the same and arrive in April because of the May 16th due date!  I really would like her to have an April b-day like her godmother, but oh well, I guess there isn't much I can do at this point.  Last week Wednesday I was 2 cm and 70% effaced and I have my next appt this Wednesday.  Dr. will induce if the baby is not here by 39 weeks (May 9th).  Ho-Hum!  I've always gone into labor naturally and had very quick deliveries (2 to 4 hours) so who knows maybe I will have this baby today...I hope!

When I was due and then overdue with DS#5...I got lots of sdvice on how to kickstart labour...none of which I tried other than DTD...big O can trigger contractions to start...other things I have been told...#1...drink cod liver oil....blah!!  I have heard it tastes awful adn it can be very rough on your system...causing diarhea with major cramping which can cuse you to go into labour if you are in fact ready...#2 was to drink the juice from 1 whole pineapple...something to do with the chemical make-up in the pineapple juice reacts with your bosy causing your water to break and go into labour..I can't remember what other "methods" I was told but I will get back to you if I do...good luck!!!  You still have a couple of days left for an April baby!!!

Madame Zaritska's prediction: The day you deliver, outside will be blustery. Your baby will arrive in the evening. After a labor lasting approximately 6 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 6 pounds, 2 ounces, and will be 18 inches long. This child will have light brown eyes and dark hair.

     Sorry...

but a May baby has lots of advantages too.

May flower is Lily of the Valley

May birthstone is Emerald (very pretty)

And you could possibly have a beautiful baby as a Mother's day present. Heart The best gift ever IMO
