Had an appt...dr said 2 cm, 70% effaced.  He said he will induce at 39 weeks if the baby doesn't arrive before then.  My last three babies arrived 2.5 to 3.5 weeks before their due date.  I hope my baby comes soon naturally.

How EXCITING! She's going to be here before you know it!!!  Best wishes for a really easy delivery, and that your baby does end up coming naturally.  If she doesn't, she'll still be here pink and perfect before you know it!!!  Enjoy every minute of it - I bet that watching her big brothers with her will absolutely melt your heart.  I have a good friend who just had a girl after three boys and it's just completely precious!!

Thanks carol's kids.  I really do hope that the baby comes naturally as well and before 39 weeks.  I prefer not to head into May.  I'm hoping she is here before April 30th.  I'm sure my boys (including husband) and I will enjoy her even more than we can realize at this point. 

woo hoo!! if you dont want to be induced, dont let em.  she'll come when shes ready. sounds like shes getting ready! 

Well, it sounds like your body is getting ready and your little one will be here soon.  But I agree with KDG.  If you don't want to be induced don't let them push you into it.  Your body is working great and should go on it's own soon. 

I don't really want to be induced, but I don't want to go past 39 weeks either.  I just hope this baby comes on her own before then.  My other three children were 2.5 to 3.5 weeks early and were perfect.  They all weighed in at roughly the 50th percentile (about 7 lbs).  The obgyn said had they gone term I would have had to have a c-section.  Don't care to go there.  My L and D's  have all been between 2 and 4 hours.  Of course I never see 'um coming until it's time to go to the hospital. 

WOW! You lucky lucky girl. I want your doctor! Mine said that he will NOT induce early at all unless there is a medical reason or if I go PAST my due date (I never have and I really don't hope to!)

You're body sounds like it's moving allong great though so you might not need that induction. BUt since your body is moving allong so well if you do get the induction your more likely to do really well with it. I was at about the same point (2cm and such) when they induced me with DS2 and my labor was as close to pain free as is humanly possible, no joke! I couldn't have asked for it to go any better.

I hope I get to meet my DD soon too! I don't want to go past 38 weeks though, but I'm probably being a little too picky. My Mom wants me to have her on the 7th, 8th, or 9th because she will be in town then, but I hope it happens sooner still!
