Is there a test that you doctor can perform while your in the early stages of pregancy between 2-8 weeks that can tell you the gender of your baby?

At this stage are they also able to advise if the baby is normal or if there is something wrong with it?

I would honestly save your money. The gender/DNA blood tests that promise to tell you the gender of baby as well as if the baby is "normal" is nothing but a scam. There are a lot of stories online about women who have been scammed out of a lot of $$$. One lab tech told a woman her baby had Downs Syndrome at 6 weeks week gestation and was a baby boy. Thw woman was crushed and almost had an abortion. She waited until her 20 week ultrasound to find out the baby was a girl. Her CVS proved the baby was healthy and "normal"

I also did the gender blood test as well as intelligender. All said I was having a boy . I had 3 U/S and my baby is all GIRL. I am a nurse and I work with a master lab tech. She said there is no way possible to tell the gender of your baby or if the baby has any chromosome problems by taking your blood. Your blood does not mix with the blood of your baby. If it did mix, your body's immune system would attack and kill the fetus.

The only way to find out the sex of your baby is to wait for the U/S or have a CVS/ ammniocentisis done. The CVS is done around week 10.  Hope that helps :)

The reason why I mentioned the blood testing above, is because some doctors will offer the test for a fee of around $300  :)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not waste any money on any gender determination that are bought from the internet.   After three intelligenders and TMPOB and 400.00 dollars down the drain my BOY RESULT baby is a 23 day old baby girl!
