Anyone paying for an early US?

I told DH this morning that I want to go in for a gender scan at 16 weeks.  He said, "How much does a FUN scan cost?"  I found a few places that are about $70 for gender determination (with coupons).  Totally worth it in my mind.  Then I'll have my 20 week scan four weeks later.  How perfect will that be?

I am so excited that I could find out the gender in just 2.5 weeks.  And because I'm paying for it I'm going to take my four year old along to see his new baby.  Probably will have my mom come and watch the two year old if she gets rowdy.  YAY!!!!

Yes.  I have one scheduled for next Sat.  Mine is much more expensive though - it includes 2 though - one at 16 weeks and then one after 20 weeks and includes a DVD.  The cost is $245.

When I finally get to that point I plan on getting it done, as this will prob be my last PG  Maybe I can get 4 out of DH!!  But anyway for a 3d/4d with pics and a DVD it's 150 with a 10% discount for military.  But it is my only option around here!  I prob wont get mine done until in the 20 weeks somewhere so I can get a good pic of the face!

The one that I would get for 70 is very short and mainly for gender determination.  I would love the 3d ones, but at 16 weeks the babe wouldn't be as fat and cute.  Maybe I can talk DH into the next step up.  We've already seen this baby so many times on US that Imainly just want to find out gender.

All the places around me will not do gender scans until 20 weeks !!!!

I just scheduled for April 29th at 6:15pm.  So we will keep it a secret and then when we tell people we can say, "It's a________!"

The place is running a sale and it will be $99 for a 15-20 min scan with pics.

I would so like to.  I want to know so badly what the babe is!!  I'm not sure yet when my mw will order a scan so we're going to wait and see on that.  I want to know so badly ; ; 

I rung today  ( we only get 20wk scans here) about paying for a 16 week scan and the lady said I still need a referral from doc or midwife to send report to??? even if I just wanted a quick gender shot.  Still pretty nervous on finding out incase its a boy so might now just hold out for my 20wk scan??

I had a private gender scan at 14 and 16 weeks. It cost me $65. Both times, I was told I was having a girl. The Second U/S was so obvious. I am so happy I had the early U/S :) We are excited to meet our DD.

I just had one done 2 days ago. They are amazing. I payed about $55 for mine and I just had another one today recommended from my doc, the ones that your insurrence pay. They are nothing like the ones you pay for. So worth it. Are you getting a 3D scan? 

Mummy3boys - yeap same here - but I could pay something like $300 for a 5 min scan to see the gender at 19 weeks????? Considering I am having my next scan at 19 weeks I thought - why?? why would I pay that???

They don't do them that early here either - would be nice though if they did!!!!!!! For $55 I'd have a couple hehehehe

I'm too scared!!  I want to hold onto hope for as long as I can so I think I'll wait until the 20 weeks u/s.  I'm getting nervous!

I am paying $45 for a 14 week scan. I was going to hold off, but I think I'll be able to tell if they are on the mark or not, my boys seem to have pretty noticeable and prominent parts, LOL. So until next Saturday. . .

Where do you guys find places that will do them at 14 or 15 weeks?  All the places around me say 20 weeks.  I wonder if I actually go there and speak to someone and ask about why 20 weeks that might help.  I can tell them that I don't mind if they say they cannot yet tell (which is why I think they all want to hold off until 20 weeks)
