I found a new website to report to about the Gender Test..it's called Rip-Off Report..I filed with them as well..I know most of us have just about forgotten about that stupid test but I figure it might help save some more women from taking that horrible test

BGM, that is where you take a sample of your blood and mail it in right?  Doesn't it cost around $200-300?  DH and I had thought about doing that when I was last pregnant.  It is the one that claims to know the sex as early as five weeks????

It's a ripoff, ripoff, ripoff.  I took a similar one from the pink or blue company and I can honestly tell you that even if they were right for me....it still was a nervewracking expeience because they don't have their stuff together.  There have also been a few ladies on the board who have had a problem with them too.  But...BGM takes the cake when it comes to bad buisness.  Don't waste your time or money.....

And these are the companies that claim to be able to tell as early as five weeks correct?  I was going to do that last time, but never actually got around to doing it. Isn't it between $200-$300?

I am going to have my u/s in one hour. If they will see the gender, we will know if Pink or Blue were wright about my test result. So far, two women had correct results from Pink or Blue. I will talk to you soon.

The test from pink or blue is around 199 plus extra for the kit and how many days you want the results.  They claim results as early as 6 weeks but it would really be horrible to hear girl if you really were carrying a boy or vise versa.  That is where I am right now.  I am not sure if they were right or not.

I thought about doing that one. I was even thinking of doing it for the next one, but everyone seems to be against it, so I think I will save my money

I am very sorry that it took me so long to post the result.

The nurse could not find any boy's parts. She also said it can be a girl, but it can be a boy as well. It was very hard to see, because the baby cross it's legs. They have only 2D u/s. They said, if they would have a 3D u/s, they would probably see the gender more clearly. There is still a chance for me. My next u/s will be in 6weeks. So, next time I will find out for sure. Now, I have to wait another month. The heart beat was hight too. It was 160ps. My doctor told me it will drop down. I also asked him about Pink or Blue test. And he was very skeptical about it. He said that it is very hard to find fetus DNA cells in mother's blood at 8weeks of pregnancy from three circles of blood. He told me not to trust the test result.

Hi Olga,

Nice to hear from you.  Well, that is reassuring!!!!  I really hope you are having a girl.  14 weeks is a bit hard to tell the sex.  I guess when I have my scan on Sunday, the dreaming will be over for me.  Or maybe it will just begin....I guess we'll just have to see.  I am even a bit skeptical doing a scan at 16 weeks.  I was told by the ultrasound place that I'm going to that 3D is not the best way to tell the sex this early and that they will be doing a 2D on me on Sunday.  I may opt to do the full package and do 3D with it or wait until I'm futhur along to do the big 3D.  I really don't want shots of the alien look....I want one where you can tell what the baby looks like for real.  I'll keep you posted.......

At 16 weeks they can see the gender for sure if the baby will be in a good position, but better to do  3D u/s. If you want to have a good picture of your baby do it at 16 weeks than later. I had four 3D u/s with my son. The best pictures were taken when I was 12 week pg. He looked like a little doll. But after 20 weeks , he looked like an alien. I think the best time is between 12-18 weeks for 3D. I hope you going to see a little princess on the screen!

I had a 3D done for Elisabeth when I was 34 weeks pregnant. She looked exactly like she did on the 3D and did (and still does) alot of the same things.

How far along are you again Olga?  With my DS, I was in the 160's and then at 20 weeks  I dropped to the 150's and at 24 weeks 140's.
