Pregnant, TTC, or have a DD? Question!

If you have been TTC a girl, how long have you been trying?  If you are or have been pregnant after using the methods to TTC a girl, how long did it take?

This is my first month ttc dd.  I am using the gen select kit along with Cranberry and using PH strips.  I am on day 18 and have not yet ovulated.  I am afraid the supplements may have thrown off my cycle.

Has anyone gotten pregnant on the first try when TTC a girl?

Mom2angelboys, I was very interested to read your above post as I TTC last month whilst taking GenSelect girl nutriceuticals, cranberry and testing pH.  I too had a very late ovulation, I think either c/d 23 or 24 and I have NEVER O'd later than c/d 19.  In fact I thought I must not be ovulating that month and stopped using OPK's because I couldn't afford to keep buying! 

As far as your question Abby, we definately won't be pg this month due to my late O (this was our first attempt).  If this is what is going to happen to my cycles then I could see this taking a VERY long time to conceive, therefore we have just purchased an Ovacue Monitor (haven't used it yet).  We will see how it goes!!

Thanks for the post musicalbabes.  I am on cd 23 today and have not yet ovulated.  I was getting kinda nervous about it.  Maybe in the next day or two then.  We obviously won't be getting pg this month either as I stopped supps on about day 18.  Will you be using the genselect neurticals for your attempt next month?  I am thinking if I am going to ovulate so late with them I should begin taking then at the end of AF rather than the start--of course then I would probably ovulate on cd 6 or something. lol How long was your whole cycle then?  Best of luck to you next month.

 I've just been taking vitex and now  LP and my cycles are a mess! I Oed on cycle day 7 this month, and cd10 last month. I had been ad cd 14 the month before. So know I'm on cd 11 and may be 4 days preg?? It's crazy!!!    I'm almost nervous to con. this month cause it's all wacky. Luckily I bought the OPK strips form  the link on this site and they were 15 opk and 5 preg. test for about 17$ and  free and QUICK shipping!!!  I began testing as soon as AF ended, thank goodness!!!

I think its the whole TTC stress that makes your O jump about.... I've O'd between CD 17 - 22 over the last 6 months.  Last cycle was our closest c/o at 2 days - I got it right because I decided to go with my CM and then OPKs to confirm to predict O rather than the strict Shettles "pick your earliest O day - 2,3,4, 5 days cut-off".

I get my OPKs from testtforless.com where you can get 25 OPKs + 5 PG test for $26.50 inc s&h. Comes in a plan white envelope so no-one can guess who it's from!
