Oh wow, this is great!  I am going to go away and think up some questions to ask. 

MY DH is very much the 'Bursar' and knows every 'in going' and 'out going' expense.  He has a speadsheet on Google Documents that we just add to each day/couple of days and it automatically adjucts the projected balance at the end of the month.  We have targets (well, he has targets for me) that I need to meet each week.  This target is just for food shopping etc not for our standard bills. 

I am looking forward to hearing everyones money saving secrets......
