I have heard 2 really strange Old Wives Tales recently....the first one being if you look at the back of your childs head and the hair at the top of the neck (hairline) forms a point then you will have a boy for your next baby if it is straight (flat) then you will have a girl next....

 the second one is that if your previous child looks like more like a boy (wether its a girl or boy) you will have a boy next, if your baby/child looks like a girl...you will have a girl next...

 I have heard these a couple of times now and the hair one seemed to work with my second baby (first has a point of hair that points down his neck...I had a boy!!

 Interesting!! Just thought i'd share and see if any of them worked with you!!!?!

 I will check DS neck when he comes home from his friends house tonight.

not working for me my son has a pointed hairline and i had a girl and the girl had a pointed hair line and this one looks like a girl too but i hope your theory comes true for me ..

When DS stood still long enough for me to look, he had the little point. 

ds 1 had a point then I had ds2...ds2 has a flat so we shall see...............

hmmm. My son is very beautiful, looks more girlish than masculine, and Im having a girl in June. When he was born people kept saying he should be a girl long eyelashes and lots of hair.

Everyone says my youngest son is so pretty and cute he should of been a girl. He's got lots of blond hair and long eyelsahes. All of my boys have long eyelashes. I'm now having a girl. I'm not sure about the boys hairline though. Thet qon't let him look as they can't keep still!

Well, DS1 looks more like a boy and DS2 looks more like a girl.  But I'm having a boy next :(

dd#1 I thought all girl, dd#2 I think alittle like a boy but family and friends disagree, Out in public I always hear "AWW what a cute boy" but that could be that I don't dress girls in alot of pink or purple, look at avatar. Girl or boy?

the first one, which kid do i look at? my last?  straight across there.  the second, of course my boy looks like a boy!  so i don't get that one.

For every hair line I had looked at, that OWT stands true.

 Note: Does not work if you have had a miscarriage, there would be no way to tell.

DS#1 - pointed hairline then I had DS#2

DS#2 - straight hairline fx'd when we do conceive the OWT holds true!

I did m/c inbetween the boys so who knows forsure but it still works for me. 

My dd has a pointed hairline, but I do not think she looks like a boy! So what's that mean? LOL 

 I have no idea!!! Lol I would stick with the hairline one - that seems to be the most "accurate"?? lol

They are 2 completely separate OWT's not necessarily meant to be used with one another lol

I personally don't hold too much faith in any OWT's but I thought they were 2 interesting ones - just fun!!! lol
