I was at the gym today and I was talking to an older lady while I was getting ready to swim. My dad and my husband were getting the boys ready. Se asked me when I was due and told me that she is minding her grandson who is four because her daughter has to have an operation for endometriosis. Her daughter would do anything to be pregnant again. I said my two boys were in the pool, and she said aw two boys. Then out of nowhere she said "it doesn't matter what they are does it love, MY THREE BOYS (proudly) who wouldn't be proud to say that, and sure if it's a little girl it'll be great too, well we wouldn't be giving her back, now would we!" and she wished me luck and said she'd say a prayer for me. I just thought she was so lovely, she didn't ask what i was having, she just said that and it was just what I wanted to hear :) And she has a pigeon pair :)

I am very cautious in my comments to people regarding the gender of their kids and always try and say uplifting things like the woman said to the OP. I wish more people would take on the positive attitude when commenting... a lot of stress and heartache could be spared! 2010 expecting a 12/12 Our family will be complete! The pigeon pair!

oh really nice, what a BALM on the heart to hear something like that, on the contrary of so many unappropriate comments raining down every day....

Baby Bear Boy 2008, 2010, 2012 ... i love my boys, but is this the end of the road for me, or would i try again for a mother-daughter dream to come true?
