I am holding firm to the idea that it really is 50/50 in the grand scheme of things, but I have to say, I find it very strange that some people have 6 or more in a row of all one gender. That seems like something must be at play more than just a random x or y sperm winning out for no other reason other than it just got there first. This maternal age thing makes me think there may be something to swaying as it would make sense that our body chemistries naturally change as we age. All that being said, I am not going to sway for a boy or girl. I have come to a great peace about being completely happy with whatever I get. I don't know how I managed to come upon this peace (other than it must be God sent) because just prior to ttc, I was dead set that I REALLY wanted #3 to be a girl! I hope this peacefulness sticks around forever! It feels so great to let go of gender desire! :) My prayer for everyone here on this board is that you can find this same peace or get your desired gender!
I am tt #3 right now and I will be in my 30s, while both of my ds's were born during my 20s. Guess we'll see what happens! :)
