I was told at my ultrasound that the black blurb at the top is a subchronic hematoma with is a blood clot between the baby and the placenta. I would have thought that the placenta would have been on the left where the baby is - 04, - 06, Swayed for and got a boy 3/28/11. Unexpected BFP w/o swaying 4/30/12. Baby due 1/13

Now from what I was told if it is TV ultrasound it is a mirror image. Abdominal is as you see it.

View the image as if you are looking down at your body from above.

From the image it 'looks' implanted on your right, but since it is TV ultrasound you would flip it so it would be the LEFT which means girl.

My daughter's ultrasound at 7 weeks 8 days looked just like yours.

I am now having a boy and my TV ultrasound at 7 weeks 9 days, he 'looked' implanated on the left side of my body, which means RIGHT thus a boy.

Hopefully that makes sense:)

So it was accurate for me!

The location of placenta does not have to be which side baby is on. I noticed the hematoma, have you had any bleeding? Looks like placenta will be top right of image which is top left of you, so girl. Ramzi also states that girls implant more often at the top, boys at bottom. GL!
