This is a 5w5d transvaginal, transverse, ultrasound. Confirmed that the image is mirrored, so for example the yolk sac is on the right of the gestational sac. I know the YS isn't necessarily indicative of where the chorionic villi/placenta are/will be. I see the bright splotch in the bottom left of image, but also see what looks like a clearly defined horseshoe shape in upper right of the image (my left). I have been pouring over the locked Ramzi thread but I'm still not sure... I will have another scan for the heartbeat at 7w2d, but I am obsessing now! Thanks in advance!

What are y'all looking at to make guess? ( I'm not obsessing at all....)

No it doesn't matter... It generally shouldn't matter, ESP when you confirm with the tech that she is in transverse plane and right=left. Like I posted in the other thread, it isn't where the baby is, (that is yolk sac in the u/ s tho.... Too early for baby to be seen. ). Baby and placenta aren't always on the same side.
