Littlehayls .. will you be finding out at 20 weeks?

I'm finding out in 3 weeks on the 1st July when I'll be 18 weeks :) X

Lots of luck for then! I don't dare find out this time ... I was too disappointed the last time ... but felt so happy when I had my baby, so decided to wait. I'm exhausting all old wives tales, gender predictors, theories etc in the mean time tho :) x

Thank you, with my last pregnancy all the old wives tales pointed to my son being a girl so I've not paid any attention to them this time. My pregnancy has been so different this time, I've had much much worse morning sickness to the extent that I lost a more than a stone had to have anti sickness tablets till 12 weeks, I'm so much more moody than I was with my son, my hair and skin is awful, I'm carrying really high up and spread out so I'm still in my pre pregnancy jeans at 15 weeks (with my son I couldn't fasten my button up on my trousers beyond 8 weeks!). I loved my last pregnancy was easy but this has been hell! I don't know if this means I'm having a girl or another boy but I'll be happy with whatever. I had a peak at your 12 weeks scan and it does look a bit girly so I'll keep my fingers crossed for a pink bundle :) I admire your patience though, I would like someone to tell me today what this little one is! GL

Thanks Littlehayls ... it def sounds very promising that you are cooking a little girl! I think ignorance is bliss for me right now ... I like thinking there is a chance of hearing girl .... but am very prepared for hearing boy number 4 :) GL x

It's the best way. I love my son to pieces and wouldn't change him for the world. I'm trying to prepare myself that it could just be my destiny to be surrounded by beautiful boys but with this being my last baby I can't help hoping that I'm having a girl so I can experience that side of being a mum too. Were all your pregnancies different or the same? Fingers crossed we both get our girls :) X

My prev 3 boys pregnancies were all pretty similar. I miscarried a 4th pregnancy where I did have different symptoms .. mainly awful headaches that lasted all day. This pregnancy is quite different too tho, not so many headaches but have felt more much more nauseaus, all day long and have totally lost my appetite esp for all my favourite foods including takeaways . I also had the dark brown line that can run down your belly very early with the boys and no sign of that yet. I have a feeling it is a boy tho ... maybe that's mainly due to the fact everyone keeps telling me I will have another boy! :) Yes FX we will both get our girls xx

Oh I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage, i cant imagine anything worse. I've been the same with headaches this time, I've had some really bad ones, in fact I don't think I've had a day headache free since I found out I was pregnant! My appetite isn't so bad this time though...it was horrendous with my son until the third trimester. Everything tasted off and even my husband smelt off! Lol. This time I've had none of that, I'm going through a big tomato craving at the moment but I'll eat pretty much anything!! I don't know how much mothers instinct counts when it comes to gender. Now, if I'm honest, I'll say I think I always knew deep down that Toby would be a boy but I did convince myself he was a girl for a long time! This time I can't shake the feeling that I'm having a girl but I'll say it more cautiously because I don't know if it's wishful thinking. I am really trying to get it into my head that we'll have another boy so I'm prepared but I always end up going back to girl. I have a lot more boys names picked out this time round so I'm prepared if we do hear boy! GL xx
