TTC Boy in June

Hi xx3wantxy, how certain are you that you will not O earlier than your morning attempt? I only ask because you would not want to miss the window for boy timing. If your certain then I think it sounds like a great plan...kids all sorted lol FX and best of luck!!

**happyrose** - that's the problem, if we DTD tonight it wouldn't be within 24 hrs of ov, I expect it to be more like 36 hours before ov... :-s **xx3wantaxy** - I'm in the UK so it is 13:15 here at the moment... Does that help? Also I think your plan for attempting in the morning sounds the best for you, and you are also smack bang in the middle of the strongest male moon sign, so great time to ovulate :-) :-) xx

Sorry *xx3* I just re-read your post and forgot to answer the other bit. It varies with DH it's not a set number of days, he last released on Saturday, so would be perfect for our attempt tomorrow morn. He was horny last night, but told him he had to wait cos I was hoping to ov in next couple of days, so he said he expected to have a wet dream last night, luckily he didn't but that means there is a bigger chance he will tonight... Sometimes he can go a week, other times only 2 days... Maybe I should make him stay awake all night to make sure he doesn't!!!! Hahahaha :-) xx

Happyrose- im pretty certain i wont O yet tonite.....i will continue w opks every 3-4hrs and i have timing figured out....if it goes back to - this afternoon then i will have to attempt tonite bc i usually O 12-15hrs later....since im BSF i obviously check cervix every 3-4 when i do that! My last - was 230am before my 530am +! 530pm would be 12hrs and 530ami would be 24hrs so i would be on top of O.......

Hi Mallety if it was me I would DTD as late as possible tonight, as if he has a wet dream tonight you would only be looking at 12hrs abstinence. Where in the uk are you!!

***xx3wantaxy, sounds perfect then!! You have your timing of O worked out so well! I never could get that lol. ****Mallety...timing is the least important factor as long as your Ph is all good best if luck to you both.

Mallety- i would suggest icing the boys to "chill them out" when my DH does this which is nightly now we have no issues! LOL....he hates it but it workz for him n he wants a boy as well....the only issue w icing is when we go to attempt it takes more then normal to get things going! If he thinks he can ice and hold off id say you might be safe to wait otherwise up the BSF starting now until confirmed O.....if the egg stayz alkaline you might have a chance.....alot of women got pg w 48-72 hr shots that were early...........doesnt give a guarantee of course but would help! Good luck!

Well it looks like I will be doing it all over again!! AF arrived only minutes ago right on schedule. I'm bit shattered but will be all good tomorrow when I go to restock on "boy supplies" and perfect my sway

Thanks xx3 I shall suggest that, not sure how well it'll go down tho ;-) my DH is super laid back, he would like a boy cos we've already got a girl, but he's not that fussed really, he's just going along with my crazy sway ideas to keep me happy, haha. **happyrose** - so sorry to hear AF turned up, that sucks :-( GL for this cycle though :-) xx

I always DTD x 2 just because its gives me a better chance of a BFP but only if you know that you haven't ovulated. PLus all my girls were conceived on day of O just DTD x 1 so do something different. I'm in Bristol! - don't get many from England on here.

Sooo sorry Happyrose! :'( hope next month you get BFP! We will probably do an attempt late tonite just incase....DH wants to be a bit early then risk O+12.... im ok w it too! Cp is only mid this morning but softer, and open so im guessing by tonite be high and then drop again after morning! Hubbs is afraid we will miss the window and ill O a cpl hours early! Alot of reviews seem to point 12hrs after surge and get pg w a boy.....36 and have girl! We shall see!

Glad you all are doing well and good luck to the June and July TTC'ers and those in the TWW if we still have anyone who is. I've been very, very sick in the early morning from about 7-10 and in the evening from about 5-8. Had headaches everyday, but yesterday was so awful I couldn't even see. I'm just keeping my fx that it's all a good sign. Also, I had my very first gender dream. i had that one about my nephew, but this time I made a 16 week appt for a private scan and went by myself and there was such obvious boy parts. I screamed OMG THATS A BOY! And the tech was laughing and said It most certainly is, you go buy all the blue you want! I remember crying in my dream and being SOO happy. Then I had to play it off because no one knew I went.. Not going to get excited or my hopes up, but wow I"ve never had a gender dream before, that was specifically for gender and it was so vivid. I could feel myself crying.
