***UPDATE***12w1d Nub.....RESULTS are in!!!

This pic was taken at 12w+1d, but bub was measuring 12w+4d. Any guesses?? Thanks heaps in advance!!!

Hi Ladies, thanks for all your guesses!!!  Was hoping girl, after two awesome boys, so looks encouraging so far!!! On other sites I'm getting 50/50 guesses cause of the blob on the end. But looking at many confirmed girl nubs at 12wks, it seems that the blob on the end seems to very common. My sonographer, who was familiar with the nub theory, guessed girl, based on the nub being parrallel to the spine. She also said at this early age, things are still very swollen. What are your ladies thoughts about the blob on the end? Does anyone else care to take a guess? Coldwater if your there, your input would be much appreciated!!!

This looks exactly like my U/S on the same day, and everybody thinks girl, so I guess it will be a pink room for you too :-)

It looks a bit rounded at the end, at my picture it's more like a fork but I've already read lots about it and it's not a sign. Could happen to both sexes.

Thanks for your input Pateeke! Yeh, from what I've since been reading both sexes start off with the rounded end on the nub (genital tuber), which eventually forms the clitoris for girls and glans penis for boys. And the genital tuber can still be very much present at 14wks. I'm therefore praying that cause the nub is protuding in same direction as lower portion of spine, it's enough to say that its a girl. Hopefully if the nub doesn't rise between the 12th and 14th week, we're correct, and we both get our girls!! :)
