How long does sperm survive bin a condome?

Hello,we are TTC girl and trying method with adding lime juce to the sperm.

For us easiest way to collect sperm is to a condome. I was just wondering how lng can you keep sperm inside the condome? Do you have to immidietly run and put it in a different container or can keep it inside till you are ready for putting it inside yourself?

I tried once and from the moment DH got sperm to the moment I could go to the bathroom with sample was approx 15 min.Is it too long?

Thats a lot of time!!!!

So that means what ever lubricant is in the condom it doesnt do any harm to the sperm? We use Durex non latex

lubercant is on the outside of the condom.. not the inside
