Due in November, we have our Due date Buddies Thread!

I'm not having a NT scan.    So, I will have to live vicariously thru you ladies!  My insurance only covers a portion.  And, though we could afford it, it didn't seems worth it.  Plus, I would just nubsess anyway.   Which would be bad for me...especially since I am not sure I want to know gender until birth.  I had strong girl feeling from the moment I saw the BFP.  As of about 10 weeks, I am leaning boy.  My DH won't even guess because he was wrong the first 2 times.  He's no fun. 

tambo, you can try to do a cosmitec prediction, its free. it was known to be pretty accurate but now i dont know. Dreaming and I asked for one. depending on the time she put (half an hour difference) she get a boy or girl prediction. i get a boy prediction. i got one for DD2 too. so it is just a way to spend time...

I'm not getting an NT scan either... I went in for a basic checkup today and the nurse that was there was trying to tell me that my due date was Dec. 12. Her reasoning behind it was "because you had a miscarriage we can't properly date your pregnacy until your dating scan next week.. So we're going with a due date of Dec. 12." I did the math and tried to explain to her that that wasn't likely because that would mean I would've had to concieve this baby around five days AFTER I got my bfp. She refused to listen, and told me it was her job to know these things, not mine. It was just a quick checkup in order to get a proof of pregnancy letter for work, but for some reason her reaction and that fact that she blew me off like that was slightly infuriating. Just had to vent... Lol. Hope everyone else is dong well!

Hi everyone, I thought I'd jump in if that's ok? I'm due November 12, but will have a C section, most likely on the 6th. I have my NT scan in 7 days, but so far everything looks good. We lost a boy at 19 weeks in November last year, to Triploidy, so this pregnancy hasn't been too fun for us, we're worried sick something will go wrong again, despite the doctors saying "oh the chance is so low" (what does that do?!) But I feel slightly better that the blood results seem really normal, last time they were all over the place, so that's a good sign.. Hope everyone has a great pregnancy! I did the red cabbage test the other day and got a very GIRL result! (Very very purple water) After 4 boys now, it will be sooooo strange if this is a girl.... Very unfamiliar with girls! Look forward to hearing how everyone goes!

Hi, I just saw your post after I posted mine, sorry. That is terrible patient care! I hope you come across someone a bit nicer and open minded.. Don't forget to harp and harp if something doesn't feel right to you- nobody knows your body better than you... Silly woman

Hey JoannaK ..   So happy to hear your pregnancy is going so well and the blood tests are coming back all good.   That's nice to hear. I remember following yours posts last year, and wanna say how sorry I am for the loss of your son. That is wonderful though, that you and your Dh were blessed with another child to love.

Good Luck and will be looking forward to your updates!  :)    I am due November 4th..  I have my NT scan scheduled for next Friday. I won't be getting any pictures though.

Hi Dreaming of XX, thanks for your well wishes, and congrats to you too! That's sad about no pics though- they won't let you take photos with your own camera? It's so cool to think our bubs will be so close in dates, yours will be a whole 2 days ahead of mine!

A quick rundown on me...I am 35 (today!) and am due on Nov 15th. I swayed pink but am excited either way at the moment (I hope that feeling doesn't change). 

I have my 12 week scan on the 8th May and will be 12 weeks and 5 days. When I saw the OB and saw the bub on an u/s last week (10 weeks) it looked so cute and was bouncing around. I can't wait to see it again.

I have definitely been sicker this time than with my other pregnancies...but thought maybe it was just me getting older! Ok now though.

Happy Bday Peony! Hope you have a great sickless day! lol My scan is on the 3rd, so 5 more days.... Also, after 4 pregnancies with boys now, I used to think "rubbish" when I'd read about people who would say that their symptoms were different when they were pregnant with a boy and then a girl etc. But I am EATING my words! The symptoms this time, COMPLETELY different to all my other pregnancies. My skin, for the first time in 14 years, is CLEAR. I have tried hundreds of things in the past, nothing has worked, except THIS pregnancy! With the boys, it would break out so badly I couldn't leave the house for months, and wouldn't start clearing up until well into the 8th month, but this time, absolutely clear. And also, I've been craving vegetables like nobody's business! I'm not saying that if someone is pregnant with a girl, they should crave veggies etc, but point being my symptoms this time are very different. So who know....! But our top hope is to get into this scan and be told that he/she is healthy. Though it may be awkward to hear BOY, because I've sort of..... started shopping for girls things.... lol whoops! Luckily the type of girls things that I like aren't really girly at all, and it's POSSIBLE a boy could work in there...!! Anyway, have a great day!
