I dont think its part of the cord as the cord is seen just left of the nub.... I hope most of us are wrong and its a girl, but most of the potty shots I have seen (early or not) that looked boyish did turn out to be a boy, there are of course the odd ones out, so hoping you are one of the few odd ones out :)
