TTC a boy - have we messed up?

Argh!
We're TTC a boy and have been swaying blue really successfully. I thought I had O'd yesterday (going by my chart and all the signs), but I did an OPK today and got a positive!
We BD'd last night, have we ballsed up our chances of swaying blue? Should we ~BD again?

I don't think you've messed up and BD again will lower DH sperm count and be girl friendly. Sounds like you've done all you can! Try not to worry the next few weeks!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

hi, you can ask your question to the ttc in March thread and you will get many responses as the ladies there are very supportive. Do not ttc again IMO as the sperm count will be lower and favor girl. If you get BFP you want to think that you did your best. If you are within 24 hours of O, you are still i boy zone. I too dtd too early (read my attempt) but i got pregnant that time and am very happy to know that i did my best and did not ruin my chances to get my boy. good luck to you!

Did you use opks only on that day?? You can get positive opk on the day of ovulation. Ovualtion can only be determined from temping. Following your temps....GL!!!!!!!

Yup, only managed to do one today as I was working yesterday (no idea why I did it when I convinced myself yesterday was O day).
DH seems to think 24 hours between attempts is ok, I'm not so sure. He's been abstaining 5 days prior to yesterdays BD

 Personally, I wouldn't attempt again as with TTC boy it is better to be earlier than later and good for DH to have a longer abstinence than 24 hours.....GL with what you & DH choose to do

Dont attempt again. keep your ph up with bsf for 3 days and no condoms. they will kill the sperms if they are trying to get to where they need to be.

Hi Phoenix....Really??? Do you mean it is bad to DTD after an attempt with a condom????  Even if you use non latex condoms with no lub???

If it doesnt have the sperm killer stuff on it. You good. But it doesnt matter if its not latex. the thing to look for is there is no sperm killer on it. i forgot the name

I haven't even though of that being a problem. I just assumed that once you O'ed....it would be ok.

I use Ansel "Skin" condoms - they are non-latex and no lub condoms.
