Pregnancy #4 confirmed

Hi all. Well I had my pregnancy confirmed by a Dr yesterday. Its kinda hit home now that #4 is

actually in there and is coming!! I have a dating scan in 2 weeks but I think I am probably

around 8 weeks. I am very hesitant about telling anyone that i'm pregnant again, which is sad

because it should be something that i'd be excited to announce. I just know after having 3 girls

what comments will come. Finding out gender will be so stressful!! I truly believe we'll have

another little girl, which I am ok with. I just don't see a little boy in our future, as after 4 caesars

this will definitely be our last bub.

congrats, we need more team blue around here. hope you can join me soon! don't let anyone get to you. you wouldn't believe the comments i got from my own family.

congrats!  I hope that your hear boy when the time comes.  just know that I really envy you and your three girls - if this is your fourth girl - you would be SERIOUSLY my envy!!!

SAHM: I don't mean to hijack this post, but while we're on the topic of trying to acceptthe gender we're given, I see as per your signature that you are stopping at two. I'll also have two boys and always thought I'd be "two and thru", but this GD has me considering a third to try for a girl... What made you come to your decision of sticking with your two boys?Do you feel your GD has gottenm better as weeks went by nd your DS2 was born?

Well had an U/S yesterday, just to confirm dates. I'm just over 7 weeks so baby will be due in October. This will be my 3rd child born in October!! Definitely going to be a busy month. Ive been thinking alot more aboutthe possibility that this could be our son, but I instantly try to stop myself. Don't want to get my hopes up. I really feel it will be a girl. A woman I know just found out she was having a boy after 4 girls. While i'm happy for her, I was surprised at how sad I felt about it as well. I just pray i'm that lucky..

trust me i knew this was dd8. you couldn't tell me otherwise. i conceived in oct. not the same i know but trust me i swayed girl so bad. i wasn't trying to get pregnant but my natural lifestyle is just one big girl sway. no red meat, no salt. i was taking soooo much cranberry as i had a uti. also had a cold so i was taking sudifed and vit c. dh loves hot showers and tighty whities, hates boxers. dtd missionary and 5 days before o and again with 0+12. with all that i defied odds and got a boy. i about fell off the table when she told me!

  but like you said, just start thinking this is another girl and all the good things that come with it, that way you won't be sad or disappointed and hey if you are having a boy.. well you can fall off the table with me! good luck i know how you feel.

I would be completely shocked if we were told boy. Honestly though, I just can't imagine it happening. I am preparing for a little girl, and I know that when she comes we'll be smitten with her, just like her sisters. Its just the thought of having to tell people and get the comments that we all know too well. Also thinking of another girls name is going to be so hard!!!

Photo girl - my hubbie got a vasectomy right after DS2.  I am 38 and DH is 48 - so we are not young that and coupled that my pregnancy was super difficult with placent previa, hospital stays and then a preemie by five weeks.  Truth be told - if I had a chance to get a girl - I would go through it all over again but my DH is OUT OUT OUT of having a third.  I am not over my GD after my son but I am just trying to find ways to cope - I'll deal with being "happy" later!!!
