did anyone else get strep B while pregnant?! if yes, what was the gender?

I got it with my son but so far nothing with this pregnancy *fingers crossed*. I read online about some other woman who had it during pregnancy and she was having a boy so it got me wondering if it happens usually with boy pregnancies or with both....

obviously ANYONE can get it while pregnant but im wondering which baby gender it accompanies more

First of all if u have strep b u always have it. Secondly, I have three boys an have never had strep b, this one gender unknown but I have step b. I think there is nothing to your "theory"

Actually, I don't think that's true about always having it....I had it with my first 3 kids (BBG) and not with my 4th (B).

Interesting thought though. :)

I had it with DS2, but not with the others. I also thought once you got it, you always had it. BUT my ob here says I didn't have it this time, so I guess it does go away.
