Are you telling your doctor about swaying?

Hi ladies,  Just curious about this.  I haven't told my doctor about any of the swaying.  I thought about it when I had my last yearly appt, but I was afraid she'd tell me that none if it was true.  I have a wonderful doctor and I think she'd be supportive, but I couldn't bring myself to say anything about it.  Now that we went as far as TBM to conceive, I'm wondering if I should tell her.  I guess there's no reason to, right?  With all the babies born this way, it seems to be safe.  Is anyone telling their doctor everything?

My doc actually mentioned swaying techniques to me! When she found out that I had all boys, she said that next time she would teach me all the tricks to having a little girl. I thought that was way cool!

Almighty Creator,

Hear this prayer and the wishes of my heart. You know my deep desire for a child, a little one to love and to hold, to care for, to cherish. grant that my body may conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in Your holy image. Guide me in all my choices so that this conception, my pregnancy and my baby's birth are in line with Your will. Heavenly Father hear this prayer of my heart, mind and spirit.

Amen~

A long time ago I talked to my dr about it and he wrote me a list of things to do for a girl.  He was very genuine, but he also did mention that none of it really seems to make that much of a difference in the end.  He told me about patients who did "sperm washing" and the sucess was not that great.  Needless to say, I never did try any of the things he suggested.

I'm keeping it to myself. I only did the lime douche though, but I don't see a need to share for medical reasons.Happy

If I am ever successful, I will tell my doctor for two reasons:  1) she can pass it on to others and 2) she has 2 young boys herself and might find the info. useful on a personal basis!

I don't think I'll say anything.  Maybe if it's successful, like Kayjay wrote.....

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Only if it works!  My OB and I have a great relationship, but he's a sassy one.  Said my chances of a girl were less than 11% given our 2 DSs and DH's family history (one girl in the last 70 years).  So, if this works (supps, TBM, douche, etc) heck yes I'm bragging!
