Nini's GIRL sway II. - Its a BOY

Hi Nini, sorry another question. I see u drank diet lemonade, altho aren't fizzy drinks supposedly out on girl diet? I'm in UK so can't buy crystal lite other than at ridiculous price online so trying to look for alternative. Did u ever use saw palmetto or husband liq root? Thanks

Aw, thanks honeyrose, you are right.... send all your pink dust and spirits my way :) I just KNEW you were going to have a girl as well, so hoping you are right for me as well? Have my scan today at 8+2, hoping to see a heartbeat and maybe getting the placenta confirmed on the left? will update later

Looks like swaying is 50/50 for me,2 girl sways which resulted in one girl and one boy ;) Never mind, I really dont mind much at all since I already have both genders. Currenlty hoping for a healthy remainder of my pregnancy (was diagnosed with a 2nd trimester SCH of almost 4 cm beside the placenta). Very grateful that my baby boy looks perfectly healthy. This makes boy, girl, boy for my husband and me, not bad at all...

 Please people dont let swaying take over your lives. I have seen many successful sways here but also those conceiving opposite genders. I am the best example! Swaying is little more than 50/50, that is how you should look at it and not get too caught up and not live your life anymore (like I have seen in many here).

 Oh, and also: you will always see more communication here and on other boards on successful sways. This is because many mums dont feel like talking much due to gender disappointment. So dont let yourself be fooled. Many perfect sways fail. There is no guarantue.

Congrats on your your baby BOY Nini. He must have really meant to be part of your family because your sway was perfect.

I do agree with you that swaying is 50/50 or maybe you can just increase it to 60/40. since becoming pregnant I have read alot of stories about unsuccessful sways and I felt sickened that I even tried it in the first place. Yes I got my desired gender but as you know my sway was not perfect and When I started my swaying journey I made myself believe it was closer to 100% successful when in fact its not. It really does lie in the hands of god or destiny...

Honeyrose, not long now for you :) Yes, I agree, everyone ttcing should be ok with the opposite gender first if they dont want to be upset later on. Simple as. This is why I probably wouldnt sway again, i would have to get to the point where I would be totally relaxed and have no preference which probably means I will not ever have another baby at all (which is ok too ;). Good luck for a quick and easy delivery, cant wait for your update :)xx

It is very easy to get obsessive and lose touch on reality. It is not healthy to let swaying take over your life, and your family life for that matter. Enjoy your pregnancy & beautiful family XX

Congratulations on your baby boy. He is so lucky to have you as a mother. You are very bright and generous to help others. Thank you for reminding us the reality of the swaying. I am currently 6 week pregnant and so excited about my baby. Of course, I want a girl but I am sure I will love this baby if it is a boy, too!
