2 ww, causal observation

We're on our 2 ww. We did FISH 5 probe. We ended up with 9 eggs, 8 fertilized, 7 sent for probes. We wanted boys. Last cycle was a 50/50 split with 7 (1 questionable) this time of the 7, we only got 1 girl, the rest were all boys! After having 2 girls (and hubby being a smoker at the time, confirmed that will kill off boys), he quit for cycle 1. Cycle 2 he drank maca root for a month prior and got pretty much all boys. Suspect it had something to do with it. Hoping my 2 turtles (both healthy hatching blasts) will stick and grow.

Thank you :) None to freeze, they were monochromes, couldn't even use them, though I wonder if we retested if they might have been fine... The girl was bad quality, so nothing to freeze (which is ok, my insurance requires to use frozen before they approve another cycle). First beta will be Sunday, no poas yet, drove everyone nuts last time, lol.

I won't get my betas done til the 29th, but as of the 24 (4dp5dt) I have already gotten my BFP! Drs say to be "cautiously optimistic" (don't they ALWAYS say that???) but it could mean good things!!!! Driving me nuts to have to wait a few more days! and even longer to see him!!!

Just got home from beta test (got my fav phlebotomist), now to wait these last few agonizing hours, lol. Would love to hear high numbers for twins, but after last time, I'll be grateful for 1 healthy one. I'll be back in a few hours... :)

Thank you! @twin_mama- that's encouraging! Not going to get my hopes up, but.... :) they were less than half before. The nurse today was like "oh, you tested positive at 4dp? Then maybe..." Either way, on cloud 9!

WOOHOO! I knew you would get pregnant once you wrote you transferred 2 hatching blasts!!! Can I ask your age??

My second son was born IVF and my Beta on Day 9 past 5 day transfer was about 230, the doctor thought it might be 2 but ultrasound showed one baby, though I strongly believe 2 initially implanted with such a high number.

I wish you a very Happy and Healthy 9 months!!

Hoping for both (will save us from doing this again next year, lol) 2 years ago was only 86 with a singleton, so..... I'm 40 (ugh, lol, 17 in my mind), this is our second ivf/pdg cycle. After having 4 naturally, things no longer work the way they should :(, but we never saw the m/c coming. Hubby is 43. 2nd beta is Wednesday, not sure what I should expect for numbers. U/S will be in two weeks to know how many. Thank you for going through this with me :)
