update to you all baby is here and it's a ? ..I would love a couple more tech opinions? getting so close now...waiting begins

HI rayofsunshIne According to my date s I should be due 13July and at first scan should have been nearly12 weeks but they put me at 12.4days making baby due 9 July...do you think that would make a difference? Getting so close now got 36 week scan tomorrow but we got this far in the game not finding out..its killed me but end is in sight;);)

Hi Abblestar, the date does make a difference and again, you fall just in the grey area.  Although I have only done a handful of posts, i have actually studied this theory since my last daughter.  Basically if you are in the 11th week, it is pretty much 50/50 whatever the nub looks like.  From 12 weeks or the early part of 12 weeks, it can start to rise.  The date the tech gave you i.e. 12+4, is definately the date to use the nub theory by.  My guess is still a boy.  I think it is definately shaped like a boy and also very slightly on the rise, but obvioulsy from your date, could rise more.  I have seen girl nubs like this, but in most cases boy.  Good luck with your boy, please keep us updated when you find out for sure.

Also thought I would mention, your nub is a bit like mine, and so far everyone has leaned boy.  Not sure if you have posted on my site or not, but worth checking out for reassurance x

Yes I did guess yours and it looks similar to mine I think yours looks slightly more boy..went for 36 scan didn't ask as growth scan got this far in the game lol...however at my 32 week scan the tech referred to baby as he..not sure if its protocol..tried looking between legs but when ya this far along cannot make out much...how far are you ?

I'm 17 weeks today, and have my scan in three weeks, and will probably find out the gender.  I really dont mind what we have as long as its healthy, but it's so much fun playing this guessing game.  Although, like you, a bit frustrating when your in the grey area.  Keep us updated. x

OF course be interesting to find out who finds out first...most likely you as mine either on time or late :(
