Did most come here because the BGM was wrong or prior to that?

I was just wondering if most of the people who found this website did so because their test came back wrong and they were upset.  Because, if most of you came before you knew the U/S results, there is an alarming number of false results. I just wondered how many other people are out there that got the wrong result. 

Many of us got here long before our US results.  I found this site right after getting my BGM result and was totally shocked 9 weeks later that I was one of the people whose US results did not match the BGM.

Some of the women sought out this site after their ultrasound conflicted with their BGM result, but there are plenty who showed up here and on other sites long before they knew.  So yes, there are an alarming number of false results.

I for one showed up on this site months before I knew that my BGM result was wrong!

I had visited this site before I even decided to do BGM, I'd known a few ladies online during my last pregnancy that had gotten incorrect results so I was still not sure if I should give BGM a try or not. I bought it knowing it could be wrong, but was still surprised that I was one of those lucky ones! It's definitely scary how many false results there seem to be!

I found this site shortly after getting my BGM results, which predicted that I would have a girl. I was absolutely furious that the test already had so many false results, when it had just come out. I had a hard time believing my ultrasound, because I wanted a girl so badly, and I didn't trust the test once I knew that others were getting bad results. Obviously, the lab's 99.9% accuracy rate was a lie, even if had guessed correctly for me.

If you're considering taking the test, please save your money and don't do it. It isn't worth it.

Yes, I too found this sight after my U/S said girl and BGM predicted boy.  URG!!!!! I am awaiting a refund.  I hope it works out.

I actually found this site,after BGM had asked me to head up a case study for them.I was defending BGM all the way!

I really thought most people here had to be lying,or it wouldnt be on the market.I was pregnant, and took the BGM test,supposed to be new and improved with about 75-100 other ladies.

And I was told I was having a boy by BGM in october.

I had my daughter in May..

I found this site when looking up gender test in general.  I wanted to make and informed decision.  I knew I would never take BGM but was still sucked in by the Pink or Blue company which offers the same kind of test.  I called them and they "sounded" legit.  I took it and now am in limbo because I don't know if my result was correct.  Ladies on this site have said that company failed them too, but not to the extent of BGM.  So the moral of the story is don't take gender tests...any of them.  It will just leave you with lots and lots of questions. 

I am here on this site before my ultrasound results.  I took the BGM test and it said boy.  I have a healthy boy already and lost my second child, a daughter -- 2 weeks after she was born.  I got pregnant again right away and was trying for a girl (used the Shettles method).  Then I took the BGM test and was told a boy. I was devastated... but am now happy at the thought of possibly having another boy.  Now I am really wondering what the outcome will be.  I have read so many posts and cannot believe how often this test has been wrong.  I wish I never took it. 

i found this site after my ultrasound said boy and BGM said girl.  on one hand, i was happy to have found this site - and the other hand i was upset so many of us were ripped off.  but i love this site and the ladies are fabulous!
