ANYONE ELSE TESTING IN DECEMBER?

I'm still here.    I had a midwife appt. the beginning of this month.  She made me feel so much better.  I was seriously over thinking everything!  I also had an U/S to check an old cyst (and double check that I was not pregnant)...everything looked fine.  Honestly, I was afraid to try until I had this appt.  I felt like my body was screwed up.  It is not.    So, I'm relaxing a bit...not checking my calendar.  It's hard for a girl like me to get pregnant, as I can't stand sex!    I was lucky the first time because I NEEDED to get pregnant...so we had a lot of sex the first month.  And, it worked!  But, I'm not that young anymore.  lol  Baby #2 was a one hit wonder.  He spoiled me.  So, although I am feeling symptoms this month (I am about 12 DPO, but AF isn't due until March 8th)...I know that doesn't mean a whole lot, and I'm okay with that.  This is only my 3rd month of lightly trying.  I may have to pick up the pace soon though! 

good luck tambo, we tried very hard and i was very young and it always took me 4-6 months to get a bfp. only number 5 and 7 were oops babies. number 2 we were trying but hubby got orders to deploy for 18 months and i didn't want to be pregnant and have the baby alone. so we stopped trying. well the day before he left i had to give him something to remember me by. and bam it took. my in-laws actually counted months to make sure it was really their sons baby.

Pain in the butt In-Gender!!  I responded to you yesterday, newbaby...but, obviously it didn't work. 

Anyway...Thank you for your encouragement!  I definitely lack patience.  Most of my friends took awhile to get pregnant when TTC.  I know it's the norm.  It's just that in my family, if you think about it...you usually get pregnant.  So, I think about that too much.  But, I'm feeling good that this may be my month...we'll see, and I'll update in a few days! 

I'm pregnant!!!!!    I started getting faint positives on Weds.  Got 2 strong positives on Sat!!  This is the earliest I have ever been able to tell I was pregnant!  Even though I am on day 29 of my cycle, I am still a couple of days from when AF would start for me normally.  So excited!!! 

wow congrats to you tambo, im so excited for you! i knew it wouldn't take you too long. just needed a little patience. fx you get a pink bundle. im so excited to be getting some blue this summer. r u going to find out gender or be surprised? we did both and if i had the patience i def would wait. i loved that delivery room surprise and i feel in love without caring about boy or girl or pink or blue.

Thanks newbaby and Up&Away!!  We haven't decided if we will find out the sex or not yet.  We found out with DS1...which is the pregnancy I had GD with.  So, it was not helpful for me to know.  With DS2, I was a recovered GDer ...so we waited until delivery (I really didn't have a preference).  It was one of the coolest experiences of my life.  IF we find out, we probably won't tell anyone IRL.  I like my privacy.  And, we aren't hoping for girl...just another baby.

 hi all,,,sorry havnt been on for ages,,MASSIVE CONGRATS TAMBO!!!!!!!! wish you a happy and healty 9 months!!! so exciting,,,i have my 12week scan on monday and i am absoloutly crapping myself  but praying that all will be ok and i will see my baby kicking about,,i keep having this dream that i go for scan and they tell me my baby has no heartbeat!! i am trying to stay positive though,,my mum had a psychic (dont know if any of you believe in things like this) but he told me not to worry and that everything is going to be fine and i will give birth to a healthy baby girl   not sure if i believe but my goodness it gave me the boost of confidence i needed and made me feel better but now closer to my scan date im a wreck!!

im going today for my big 20 weeks scan. i had to cancel because dd3 needed surgery, she's good now. so i know im a little late going but hopefully all is well. my doc did a quick scan a few weeks ago and confirmed boy for me! my only issue is im measuring 4 weeks ahead!!! im 23 weeks but im measuring 27 weeks. gosh i feel huge and everyone is commenting on how big i look. i guess when its your 11th pregnancy things just stretch alot easier.

Thank you, carol08!!  I am so happy...but, also so scared.  I'm so worried about it's health this time.  I think it has to do with my age...I think it's gotten to me.    And, I don't even have an appt. until April 10th!  Ugh.  I am 6 weeks in a few days.  And, I've only told my mom and dad.  The last 2 times, I had told more people by now.  I'm just so nervous something will go wrong. 

I hope everything goes perfectly for you tomorrow!  Can't wait for the update!!  Man, this pregnancy stuff is scary. 

Newbaby2011...how was your scan? 

 how did your scan go newbaby?? hope all went well and congrats on your little boy!! hope your daugther is well now too,,waiting for your update,,yeah i know how you feel tambo,pregnancy is such a great thing yet it is one of the most scariest things too,,until i went through what happened with my last pregnancy i was a bit naive ,it was a case of oh im pregnat,eat healthy and 9months later my baby will be here,,and although it would help alot just now to think that that,it isnt so easy!! 10th april will be here b4 you know it,,lets both try to stay positive,although we both know how hard it is,,wishing you all the luck in the world and i will be sure to update on monday,,take care of yourself xx

i missed it. i showed up but i had forgotten they called and asked me to come in an hour earlier a few days before. so i had to reschedule yet again. im already 24 weeks. i can only assume he's fine i can feel him kicking.

   try not to freak out ladies. we are mothers, we will spend the rest of our lives freaking out for this child. you spend the first 12 weeks worried about miscarriage. then your baby isn't viable until 25 weeks, then you spend the rest of the pregnancy freaked out about the cord wrapped around his or her neck or premature labor. once the baby is here you will freak out about sids, then choking hazzards, baby bumped his head. don't even talk about riding a bike or driving a car!
