Did anyone get pregnant just after giving birth?

Had my baby boy just 7 weeks ago, and today my doc. said he thinks i'm pregnant again. We had planned on TTC again in the new year because we want our kids close in age, but not this close!

I don't get my blood test results until later today (It's 15 mins past midnight here, so it's today, LOL).

Has this happened anyone. My husband thinks it's wonderful, he's getting his hopes up. I think it's great, but there wont even be a year between Charlie and this baby (If I am pregnant)! We'll have our hands full that's for sure, but Charlie is an angelic baby, so lets just hope our next baby will be the same (I'd like think so....But I doubt it, I'm not that lucky).

 Hi, first of all, can i ask what makes the doc think you may be pregnant? It is entirely possible of course! Ive never gotten pregnant quite as close to giving birth as you may have, but DS2 and DS3 are only 12month and 2 weeks apart, i go pregnant when DS2 was 3 and half months. I just had DS4 in may this year, when he was 15weeks old, i found out i was around 5wks pregnant again so i got pregnant when DS4 was around 10weeks! This baby is due just a week before DS4 turns 1! Did you get your results yet?

when my 4th was 10 weeks old i got pregnant with a 5th.
